Make Wise Decisions
Being responsible and making wise decisions.
There are times when it is imperative to take great consideration and thought on how to approach a problem or situation. It is smart to take the time to ponder a little longer on difficult problems, and most times the simple problems have simple solutions. Sometimes it just takes a little common sense to make the best decision. You can intelligently make your own decisions without having to seek outside advice. In order to know if you are making the right decision in any given situation is to know exactly what the outcome will be.
You can lead a life that is fun and fulfilling by making healthy decisions If you make a bad decision, you will have a life that is both stressful and chaotic. You may ask yourself if you should send a sympathy card to a friend who has just recently lost a loved one, or if you should go to dinner with someone you just met. If your friend has lost a loved one, you will automatically know that it would be proper to send a sympathy card with your condolences. It would let your friend know that you care, and you are thinking of them. You should decide wisely if you were asked on a date with someone you just met. You would want to know some things about the person before you take the plunge into the dating scene. If you met the person in an online chat room, it would be safer to plan your meeting in a public place with many people around. If you were trying to lose weight, you might ask yourself if it is a wise decision to have that second helping of triple layered chocolate cake served with ice cream. You would not want to fall behind in your goal to lose weight, since there are health risks in being overweight, so you will automatically know that you should pass on both the cake and the ice cream.
Sometimes choosing a path, or making a decision will bring on more responsibility. It is in times like these that you will want to take more time in deciding what to do. It might help to write yourself a list of the advantages and disadvantages of the situation to arrive at your decision. For instance, if you were put in a situation where you were offered a job in another state, and you had an option to keep your present job or accept the new job. It would be wise to make a list of all the positive and negative aspects of the potential new job and location, then compare that list to the list of positives and negatives of staying put. You will know what works best for you in any given situation. You can’t go wrong if you plan and make your decisions in a wise and responsible manner.
