Making Resolutions Not Obsolete

"I resolve not to let little things upset me"

Making New Year’s resolution is still important and not obsolete then can help us become better persons and prevent us from hurting relationships in our love ones and workplaces.

A resolution can aim at getting rid of a bad tempers.  It can also help lick bad habits of drinking, lying, smoking, or over eating.

changing what’s bad in us can also be good for our health, for peace, and harmony and it’s as old as Jesus Christ’s message.  Recall how He kept preaching about self-reform and repentance. “Unless you change, you will perish,” He said.

Further, it’s important to set realistic goals, otherwise theywon’t be kept for long.  For instance, people who wnats to lose weight don’t have to give up their favorite food entirely.  A German health insurer, Urike Michelat, advises that “an absolute ban on eating chocolate, for example, can result in an insatiable hunger for it.

Whatever the resolution may be, what’s important is to follow it through.  This can be achieved if we don’t make too many resolutions.  Better one or two that’s faithfully kept rather than many that are forgotten latter.  The saying “quality os better than quantitiy” applies here.

Well, it shows how difficult it is to fulfill a resolution!
