Mastering Anger the Secret to a Slim Line
A neglected cause of ill-health and obesity in today society.
We all at one point or another in this life go through the emotion called ANGER.We get angry at our parents,our siblings, our friends,hell we even get angry at our bosses at the work place.The thing though with anger is its like a stain that won’t go away.The harder you scrub,the more it sticks.I have met women, well one particular one who was over 70 years, still angry with her husband who meanwhile has since kicked the bucket.I mean she just couldn’t let go.Scientifically i believe it long been proven that it is not only unhealthy but also detrimental to health to be angry all the time.Why? because the body releases these toxic chemicals such as free radicals that are harmful to the body.Talk about high blood pressure, heart disease and even cancer.I mean its a concoction for disaster. But you see going back to the Word of God, because you see the creator knows more about us that we give him credit for.The bible says if your brother wrongs you you must forgive him seventy times seven times(Mathew 18 v 21).
Now, that my freind is a lot of forgiving.Another scripture says Be angry, and sin not .Do not let the sun go down on your anger(Ephesians 4 v 26).What the master is simply saying is, the secret to a good life is to learn to forgive quickly.Learning to live life in daily compartment and not bringing yesterday wrongs into the morrow is the key to a good healthy prosperous life.If you were to ask how many women gained unnecessary stones whilst munching on chocolates because they were angry with their husbands,partners or boyfriends you will won’t be too shocked why we are battling with weight today.Eating healthy, exercising i say yes to all that, but the least mentioned but the most important is learning to forgive.
