One Final Word On: Fear
This word is even worse than Death. It’s not a shame to die or to be dead, but it’s a shame to live in fear or to fear something, no matter what it is.
Let’s say you are riding your bicycle at night and suddenly you arrive to some destination you know nothing of. You are in the dark and your imagination is starting to play tricks on you. You imagine all the bad things that can happen to you, all the things that evil men can do to you. Maybe they will kill you and then remove and sell your organs? Maybe they will do it while you are still alive just for fun!? It’s terrifying, you read so many things about mafia organizations, their power and their darkness!
After riding one kilometer you find out that all your fears were just in your imagination. This unknown village is nothing but a quiet place where only old people live because they do not like the city and prefer to live their last years in peace here. There are no lights because the local government is yet to order public light installation here.
Your fears had no reason to be.
This is what happens 99% of the time. You fear things that you should not fear and you fear not things that you were supposed to fear. The human mind is a marvelous thing, but with so little information available to it it’s always very hard to make a precise definition on a situation, so fear always emerges as a backup plan, too bad this is the most used plan.
If you fear opening that letter because of the last medical exams you made or to visit that person because you fear what their reaction will be or even visiting that place because you fear what will expect you there or to start that new company because you fear you will not have enough costumers and so on, just remember the story of the dark ride. Your brain can never make any judgment on anything, it’s not good enough to collect information neither to process them in an impartial way.
