Practice Positive Thinking!

In this fast growing era, the level of negativity in everything is higher than positivity. So, it becomes very difficult for us to remain positive. We feel stressed, inferiority, doubt our abilities, and think negative in our work nowadays. This has impact our confidence, our relationships with others, our work, our decision making power, our happiness, and our whole attitude towards life.

To have a happy and healthy life, we need to change our negative habits into positive ones. It is not so easy, but we can start with any one of the following three steps. Gradually, a remarkable change will be noticed in our approach towards life.

1. Develop awareness in your thoughts

Firstly, we should start understanding our inner voice. Notice the positive and negative thoughts that come in your mind and note them. At the end of the day, have a look on these thoughts and think about each of them. To develop awareness in our thoughts is a very useful tool, and you will be shocked that how a negative thought dominates the positive one. Do not waste your time in criticizing others but, rather spend some time thinking about good thoughts and memorize them. Gradually you will feel a drastic change in the way of your thinking.

2.  Replace negative thoughts by positive ones

As it is the beginning of changing your attitude, list each negative thought that pops up in your mind. Note it down on the paper along with the positive thoughts and analyze them differently. Try to visualize a negative thought in a positive way. Also, memorize these positive thoughts or quotes whenever you feel negativity in your mind. The positive thoughts will gradually dominate the negative ones and you will find a new space of good thoughts developing in your mind. Then you’ll start feeling better almost immediately.

3. Concentrate on your positive thinking

Once your negativity is converted into positivity, concentrate on it and try to maintain positivity in your thinking. This is nothing but developing a new habit in your life. Work on it for one day, then for one week and so on. Do not worry if a negative thought distracts your mind. Notice it, transform it into something positive and go ahead. Concentrate on this process and work hard to feel free from your old habits. It usually takes 21 days to cultivate a new habit so, within a month or two; you can see real changes in your life.

Positivity is a habit, which means you can learn to see positive in everything. Make a decision to be positive today for a positive tomorrow.
