Programming Oneself

When a person does not program him/herself, chances of him/her get programmed by someone else are high, and that is worse than going by one’s own program. Thus, opting for a freedom from programming the self proves troublesome.

To be free from all bindings and programs and free do anything in accordance with your mood swing is a great thing of joy provided it were possible. When a person does not program him/herself, chances of him/her get programmed by someone else are high, and that is worse than going by one’s own program. Thus, opting for a freedom from programming the self proves troublesome.

Programming is best done for three stages – long term, medium tem, and short term. A long term program of a person tells what he wishes to be ultimately. This may include his/her passion, profession, social and/or economic status, relationships, etc. – some or all of these. Since, these are far away in future, these may be called as goals of one’s life. Medium term programs often decide how one intends to go about achieving one’s goals of life, though these themselves are midway goals of life.

A short term program often means fixing about a routine on daily basis. This is best done as the first thing in the morning, and includes all the routine activities, the  person is obliged to do. This short term program is the most important since it makes the ‘present’ of the person, a foundation of the future. If this is ignored, nothing more is worth programming.

All these programs of the person are based and linked to his/her past – far and near, however, the two may be de-linked, if need be, up to a great extent if not wholly. Now, I display such a programming keeping myself in focus.

I have a lovelorn life so far and my online love experience has been very bitter. So, this past of mine has a stamp on my future program to find a real love, as the long term goal of my life. The support of online presence shall be taken only when there exist good chances of meeting the prospective partner in reality.

Since, this shall be a new beginning of life once again, this will need remolding my existing pattern of living freely without much of economic activities. This pattern of life was adopted by me because I had called it a day for my love life, needed not much for contentment and had enough resources for a survival.

Further, a lack of a political will in India for improving living conditions of common people, and for most of the persons here involved in manipulative tactics instead of working hard for their respective livings, I find it better to leave the country, if possible. I had devoted myself to make a difference here, worked hard to my best, but with no results. Therefore, to be happy myself, I need to give up my earlier dedication to the country and her people. These experiences of my past are going to have a stamp on my  programming for the future. At this age I need to be peace-loving rather than struggling.

This sets my mid-term program of finding a job for me in a distant land, except the middle east Islamic countries. Mainly, it may be in South-East Asia, Australia, Europe or North America.

With these settings of mid and long term goals, I set my routines to be followed on daily basis. I had been remaining online for 8 to 12 hours a day principally for my writing works and socializing. Now, I prioritize my routine to concentrate on finding a job by being online, continue my writing works to soothe my soul, and do socializing in a discreet way. During my offline hours, I need to focus on a gradual wind up and reduction in my working for local causes, concerns and contacts.

With all this said and done, flexibility in programming is a must to readjust the programs in accordance to daily developments and mid-term assessments. Under the conditions of we all being tied to our own circumstances and respective societies, nothing can be said or done with certainty about the future without sacrificing happiness. Therefore, let us swim in the pool of circumstances with a direction and goal in mind, with happiness as the ultimate objective of life.

I agree with you. We must have a goal, either short term or long term. Otherwise we will never accomplish anything. I hope your long term goals work out for you.
