Right Way of Thinking 1: How to Accept What We Have
All of us are unique and special. Each of us are different in terms of everything. Now, let’s discuss about the differences in physical possessions. How to enjoy each and everything we have? Change the way we think and this small change will lead to a big change in our life. Let’s see how.
Sometimes, we see a uniqueness as a weaknesses. Keep doing it if you want to suffer for whole your live. But, there’s a right way to enjoy your uniqueness, accepting everything we have with an open arms. Let’s see how.
In this life, we keep comparing other people with ourself. “He have a big house, i just could afford for a small one.” “Wow, what a luxury car, is it possible for me to have it with what I’m earning right now?” “He’s a CEO, very rich. I’m just a clerk.” We are not satisfy with almost everything we have. We keep comparing what others have with what we have. Two things happen to us, we are happy with what others have then sad with what we have. Ask yourself, will the situation change if you think that way? Apparently, no. At the end, we feel hopeless, much more suffer than before.
You are looking at the outside, tend to forget the reality. Do you know the man with big beautiful house is having a big argument with his wife? They are unhappy for several years and planning to get divorce. Do you know the one with Ferrari is having health problems, always wish to swap place with someone like you? You never know. You never know about them other than what you see. If you know the reality of something which you are comparing, I’m sure you’ll be much more thankful for what you have than ever.
You don’t have to know the reality to be thankful with what you have. Big and small house will be our example. Just choose whether you want to be happier with a small house you have or suffer, also with the same small house you have? Keep reading, If you choose option number one.
Change the way you think. Don’t allow yourself to be sad with what you have. Let’s try.
- “He have a big house, I just could afford for this small one.” – Happy to see the big house, then unhappy with what you have.
- “He have a big house.” – Happy. But this sentence seems like unfinished.
- “He have a big house, one day I will have it.” – Happy then happy to dream.
So, it’s up to you how you want to think and feel. Don’t add anything which can make you unhappy with your life. Be creative, add only things which can lead to happy feelings. Choose to be happy. Let’s change the way we think! Live with what you have, not with what you don’t have. We choose how we want to see things. So, choose to take it easy.
