Self Bondage Combination Lock Release

In self bondage you need a release mechanism if you want to get out of the bondage, a combination lock is a simple self bondage release mechanism.

The combination lock release mechanism is basically using certain numbers in a specific order to release yourself from self bondage. The combination lock can take a number of forms from a small padlock to a large safe.

Most combination locks need light on them so you can pin the numbers in to get free so this release mechanism depends on light so you can set your self free from your bondage. This means that you have two choices about going about this: (1) you could either tie yourself in bondage during or just before nightfall but have the combination lock in sight and when the sun rises you key in the combination or (2) you tie yourself in bondage and set up a light (could be lamp for example) to turn on at a certain time so you can key in the combination, this also means that if the lamp fails to come on that you just have to wait till the morning to get out of your self bondage.

One option is having an unknown combination, this means that you don’t know what the numbers are to open the lock. The combination lock with 3 digits would take about 20 minutes to crack where as a 4 digit lock is more like 2 and half hours. A down side is that your fingers can get sore when you are constantly taping in the numbers.

The easiest combination lock to use for self bondage is a padlock with a combination lock on it, it basically looks like a normal padlock but usually has 4 digit boxes (can be 3 digits but 4 is more common) that you just turn to display the numbers and when you turn the numbers so they are right and the padlock opens (just like it would if it was a padlock that needed a key).

A disadvantage to this release mechanism is that you can not wear a blindfold while in self bondage as you wouldn’t be able to see the combination lock which means you couldn’t get free when the light reaches the combination lock. Another disadvantage to this release is that you would have to have your hands at the front of your body for the same reason above as you need to be able to see the combination lock.
