Self Confidence: The Strength We All Have
Do you have a strong voice, or a well-built frame, or tons upon tons of cash? There’s a good chance that you have none. But is this a reason to get down? I say, "Nay".

Now, one must also speak up with a strong voice. People who mumble or speak under their breath are often looked down upon for various reasons. If you want to say something, don’t be afraid to reinforce it with the strength of your vocal cords, no matter how ridiculous you think you’ll look. You will show that you are confident in what you’re saying. If you watch closely, these charismatic individuals I spoke of earlier do exactly this. They are confident in what they’re doing, and confident in what they’re saying. Just be careful to not blow out everyones eardrums in the process.

Now, one must be careful as they are doing these things. You might just start a fight for blurting out something insulting at the guy who likes to pick on you consistently. You might come across as rude and arrogant, rather than confident. You might come across as trying to be intimidating with a lack of moderation on the voice and body. The lack of the same moderation may cause you to seem obnoxious. You might come across as just flat out loud.
Another part about being confident is showing some modesty. Don’t go out and say everything that pops into your head. You’re most definitely showing that you’re confident; so confident, in fact, that you’re not afraid to be a jerk. This is one thing that you must always watch out for. And don’t be afraid to apologize if someone is showing clear signs of having been insulted. However, don’t constantly apologize for every tiny little thing that someone might be able to take offense at, because this shows that underneath, you’re still lacking confidence.
And that’s the last and most important part about confidence: what’s underneath. Are you proud of who you are? Are you confident in yourself? Are you confident in your own mind, own voice, own resolve? Because if you are not confident, you will never be able to pull any of this off. You have to tell yourself, “I am confident!” Not just tell yourself. YOU must be confident. There are no exceptions. Find anything to be confident about. I’m confident because I do well in school; I’m confident because I have a paying job; I’m confident because I have a girlfriend; I’m confident because I’m a Christian, or a Jew, or a Muslim, or an Atheist, or a number of other world religions. I’m confident because I have two parents who love me; I’m confident because I am responsible for the person I am today; I am confident because I am a good person; I am confident because I will succeed.
No matter what, find something to be confident about. Once you learn to be confident in yourself, you will find more strength, more talents, and more opportunities than you ever had before. And because of your confidence, you may very well become a role model for someone, someone you may not even know, to look up to, so that they may share your confidence also. As you become confident in yourself, you will learn to help others find confidence in themselves as well. And hopefully, the chain will continue on.
I believe apathy leads to stagnation and degeneration, and I believe that the apathetic are the way they are because they lack confidence of any kind or form. If the entire world can have confidence in itself, people will be willing to take the action to make true change-a good change. And today, that change can start with you, because you will find the confidence in your abilities to make this happen.

What a beautifully crafted piece. Self-confidence indeed does half of the job, especially if it is coupled with wisdom, humility, and determination.
