Setting Significant Goals
by Every one must set goals and work hard to achieve them. Setting goals is important for every one. It is not enough if you simply set goals. Your goals should be significant. If your goals are without time limit they are not real goals. They will never be achieved. Setting goals with a time limit are significant goals.
Goals in life: Every one must have goals in life. A life without goals is like a flower without fragrance. Will you get into a bus without knowing your destination? If you don’t know your destination, what is the use of travelling? Let us assume you want to enjoy your holidays. You haven’t planned your trip. You simply get into the first bus you see and travel to a place where that bus takes you. You experience difficulties in getting hotel accommodation. Do you think you can really enjoy the holidays? It is now obvious that setting goals is important in every walk of life.

Setting goals at all ages: People think that only the youngsters should set goals and work hard to achieve them. No, even old people can set goals in life. Of course an old man’s goals will be different from the goals of a young man. Setting goals is like learning, it should go on till death.
Goals without a time limit: okay, we have goals, say for instance I have set a goal to make money on the Internet. The chances are I will never make big money unless I have specific time limit to achieve my goals. If there is no time limit, I may work lethargically and at one point of time I may quit my efforts too. Or, I will simply keep on saying, “One day I will make big money” till I die. So, setting goals with time limit become significant.
Set achievable goals: Okay, I want to set a goal to make money on Internet with a time limit say 1 year. Will it have any meaning if I set a goal to make a million per month within a year. It’s just not possible. So,setting meaningful goals is also equally important. If I set a goal, say to make $200 per month within a year is a significant and achievable goal, I would say.After achieving $200, I can set my goal as $500 for the next year.
Work hard to achieve goals: It’s not just enough if I set a goal with a time limit and don’t make any efforts to achieve it. You must have the “Killer attitude” to achieve the goal within the period. You need to keep on setting goals and working working hard to achieve them all your life. You can set goals in business, love, raising children and even in entertainment.
Summary: Set goals in life. You can set personal and business goals.Set goals with a time limit. Work hard with a “Killer attitude” to achieve them. Once the goals are achieved set new goals. Setting goals is a life long process, so let us learn to live with goals through out the life.
