Should You Have Kids When You’re Over 40
This is on having children after age 40.
Should you have children after the age of 40? Women should not have kids after the age of 40 because there is a high chance for the baby to come out with birth defects due to old age. Usually babies that are born to older mothers come out with birth defects. They have problems like Down syndrome and all others. If the woman is lucky, she might have healthy babies after the age of 40 but her health is at risk too if she’s not well. Recently, an older lady gave birth at the age of 69 and died from Spain. She used in vitro fertilization but I think that it caused too much stress on the body. She also had twin which took a lot of energy in order to produce twin. She was 69 years old too which makes it very difficult to bear children.
When I was studying Obstetrics, they said that you should have your children before age 35 because it’s healthier that way. If you have your kid after 35, there is a big chance that they will have problems. From personal experience and knowing people who have Down syndrome kids, I think its best that women should have their children before 35 years of age. This is to ensure healthy babies and healthy mothers. There will be women who have children after 35 but they are taking on a big risk. It could be that they lack the knowledge or they just want to gamble. I think that they should think twice before having kids after 35 years of age.
I used to work in the baby department in the hospital and I often see babies with birth defects from older mothers. I saw many Down syndrome baby and all other defects. It’s possible to have a Down syndrome baby if you’re older or if your health or eggs are not in the best condition. If you’re going to have babies, you should do it before you’re 35. Why risk your baby’s health and yours? The body is like a car and it gets out of shape when it gets older. Your eggs can be fresher when you’re young. Planning is everything. If you’re going to have children, you should plan well so that you can have them when you’re young and healthy.
When you have a Down syndrome kid, you will spend a lot of time in the hospital taking care of them. The medical bill is high. You will not get the chance to see your kids grow up healthy or do things that other kids can do. If you’re over 40, you should consult a doctor before you decide to have kids. It’s risky and you should consider having other people carry the baby for you instead of you carrying the baby. It’s the health of the mother that can affect the childbirth. If a younger woman carries your child, you don’t have to suffer from old age stress with pregnancy.

I have a hard time believing this is a medical professional. You work in “the baby department”? Like “the menswear department” at Sears? If you have a child after 35, there isn’t a “big chance” you’ll have a baby with birth defects. For most, the chances are still less than 1%. Get some facts before you spew off at the mouth.
