Six Rules to Abide by When Ordering a Pizza

People think that ordering a pizza is a nonchalant thing to do. It can be quite nerve-wrecking to be the employee and be bolstered by a customer.

5.  Try the local places out

The big name pizza places such as Dominos, Little Caesars, Papa Johns, etc.  have guidelines they have to follow and can rarely stray from the beaten path.  The family owned businesses can more easily cater to your desires.  As a Dominos employee, customers would ask for us to add a flavored crust or sprinkle parmesan cheese on the pizza and we couldn’t at the time (I’m not sure about now) since it was against company policy.  As a mom-and-pop pizza place we would do whatever our customers asked because we wanted a big customer base and we wanted to keep our customers happy.  Another thing you could keep in mind is that the local places generally make and do everything out of their store so you can just about guarantee that your food is always going to be fresh.  Sometimes the big pizza chains get their foods frozen, trucked in a couple days a week.

6.  We can only move so fast

Nothing is more frustrating than being busy and be expected to make and deliver a pizza to you in no time flat.  It takes 10-13 minutes to make, bake, and cut a pizza.  Then we send it out with the driver.  We do not control the weather, traffic, or construction so be patient as our drivers do not get any more road privileges from the police.   We also do not want to hear your excuses of you having to leave in 30 minutes and want your pizza before that as it is your fault for waiting so long to order food.  We have other customers who ordered before you and it is not fair to keep them waiting.  You are not any more royalty to us than everyone else.
