Six Steps to Achieve Your Goal

Six easy-to-follow rules to achieve your goal.

1. Set a goal. Be specific and clear on what you want to achieve.

For example, instead of setting a generic goal like” i want to lose weight”, be more specific like “i want to lose 20 lbs”.

2. Set a deadline for your goal

Every goal you want to achieve must have a deadline/timeframe. This also motivates you to achieve your goal. Make sure you set a realistic time frame for the goal so that you dont miss out achieving the same.

3. Visualize

Close your eyes and visualise how you would feel when you achieve your goal. Say, if your goal is to become a manager, imagine yourself as being a manager and sense how it feels. This would inspire you to work hard towards your goal.

4. Track your Progress

It is vital to track your goal on a daily basis/weekly basis. Doing so will help you in determining whether you are lacking behind in your goals.

5. Reward yourself

Reward yourself every time you achieve your goal. If you are a lover of new clothes, then gift yourself a new outfit for achieving your goal.

6. Never Give Up

There maybe times you may face obstacles that may prevent you from achieving your goal. Don’t lose heart. Even if you were not able to work towards your goal as planned, take it as a challenge and keep working towards it rather than giving up.

Adhering to these simple steps will enable you to achieve your goal with ease.
