Smile, Please and Thank You

The three best words in the English Language. They are the most important words that need to be used daily. They will provide you with Success and opportunity that you would not normally have found. Smiling is very underrated, and needs to be used daily. For with a smile you get a smile. Please and Thank You are other words almost as important. Please and thank you go along ways to obtaining clients, opportunities, and desires. So: Please smile, and thank you.

Three very simple words, and yet they are the most important vocabulary words to breed success. We may know the definition of these words, but do we understand the impact they have on the world around us? Think about the word smile, I bet your mouth turns up its corners, and I would bet that you feel a warm feeling inside your heart. These three words at their deepest meaning will provide you more abundance, and success.

The other day, I was at McDonalds, I haven’t been at a McDonalds in months, and the girl at the window that gave me my food was grumpy. I’m not talking about the attitude that says oh I work at McDonalds and I hate it. No, I’m talking about someone so grumpy that she wouldn’t talk at all. I even attempted a conversation with her. “Hi, how are you doing today? I hope you have a good day.” Nothing, just more groans and grunts and no smile. I evened smiled at her, and usually when I smile at someone they smile back. Not this girl.

This led me to thinking, and pondering about the simple act of smiling. Smile is the best tool we have when we first meet someone. This smile tells the other person, how much you mean to them. The girl at McDonalds just might have been better if more people smiled at her. No matter how big or small your job, when you greet people smile. If you happen to be either a server or a waitress, you’ll probably end up with bigger tips. Doesn’t that sound like an easy income booster?

If you are a business person, and work with lots of people, then smiling will help you ease the tension among everyone involved. If you need to attract customers, then this also works. I believe that a person that you just met for a potential client will be more at ease, and more willing to become your client. What you give your attention to, will also manifest for you. The smile gives off your energy and vibration. With that smile comes positive energy to attract positive energy. Usually with that smile comes another smile. Try it today, and find out how many people smile at you because you first smiled.

There is a couple of other words that need to be addressed and those words are “please” and “thank you.” These two words will allow even more abundance than the smile. As with smile, the meaning is in the actual doing of the meaning. Please, a form of politeness that is beginning to not be used as much anymore. Thank you, a sincere sentiment that you are grateful for the service being rendered or for a gift being given to you.

As a school teacher, I am finding that the young society today (19 years and younger), find saying please and thank you mean nothing to these kids. It’s like they have never been taught to be appreciative or to just be kind. I always tell them that please and thank you go along way in obtaining their desires. They look at me and scoff, scowl, and grunt as if I were a mad woman. When someone says please, then we usually give what they are asking for, and nothing else is needed. When we say thank you we have probably made someone’s day.

These words are for everyone to use. When we are checking out the grocery store, smile at the clerk, and say thank you when the transaction is finished. When you are a restaurant give your server something to them to let them know that you are appreciative for everything that she has done for you. Who knows your food may come out better. This is just another example of attracting what you want and desire. That is the goal.

These three words have a deeper meaning beyond just being polite, and beyond normal everyday usage. Even if you have a so called “bad day” these words can bring you a sense of someone caring, even if it’s forced. I wish I could have talked with the young girl at McDonalds, but alas I attempted to show her by example. Go out today with a smile, and be sure to say “please” and “thank you” when appropriate.
