Stress and the Art of Defeating It

Let’s face it, these are stressful times. Everyone is feeling the burden of stress. Here I discuss some of the positive ways to combat the evil grip of stress!

The best way to reduce stress in your life, and increase positive change and mindset, is exercise. Nothing better in the world can help more than this. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, which create the “euphoric” feeling all throughout your body. Exercise is great for controlling anger as well. Just focus all the negative feelings you are dealing with into that run through the park, or sit ups. Soon those dark and gloomy feelings will be replaced with endorphins and a higher increased sense of self accomplishment. Goodbye stress!

Another way I find to relieve stress is wine! It has to be one of my favorite methods. Wine has been proven to reduce stress, be healthy for your heart, and even help with the purification of blood. Combine this method with a night at the art gallery, and you’ll find yourself forgetting the worries of life. Vino Veritas!

On the top of my list, has to be sex. This method is scientifically proven, much like exercise, to release endorphins into the brain. Not to mention, its sex! What better way to close the doors of this world, and just fall into passion with the one you love. Its a great method you can help your loved one also reduce stress.

Body message is another favorite. This mixed with all the above methods can create a perfect night of relaxation and spiritual/sexual healing. Take the time to just forget the world. Lock the doors and put on your favorite music, light some candles and incense, and forget the world.  Stress is ugly. We need to take into consideration stress effects our lives, jobs, relationships and overall state of well being.

Stress has been linked to several physical health problems. So save yourself some future doctor bills and RELAX!

In conclusion, some other ways for you and your partner to ease the sharp teeth of stress are: Taking a small Get-A-way vacation. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just the weekend. Maybe a hotel room with a jacuzzi, or the serenity of the woods, fire and tent. Dont let money be the reason you bang your head against the wall. Be creative. Go visit a vineyard and taste wine, just don’t kill yourself with stress.

Good tips. My only concern is that in the order you put it may cause problems—you listed the wine BEFORE the sex.

You seem to be well rounded on just about every topic known to man. This is some good advice though. Most of these can be done, unless the person with the stress doesn’t have a significant other. But the other ideas seem helpful. What kind of tips do you have on getting a depression that has been evolving to go away after being present for 10 years? Just curious.

Although I have never suffered from stress may I say, this is an excellent article.
