Stressed?

Simple ways to give your self comfort.

There are lot of things that happens in our everyday lives. Thinking our everyday activities and routine makes us feel tired. And whenever thing comes into deep, that’s what you call stress.

What is stress? Stress is simply tension. We do feel tension whenever we think hard to bring in solution.

How will we divert our attention? What can we do to keep our feeling light and manageable?

Here are some bright tips that I myself sometimes do whenever i feel strained.

Pamper. Pampering is in my top list. You can always find time to relax even at home. Nothing compares with the relaxation you feel when you’re in your own bed hugging your favorite pillow and rolling around your own comfy bed. Give your self a foot-spa, a do-it-your-own facial and therapy. There are many kinds of do-it-yourself kit available in the market nowadays. Nothing beats a do-it-your-own activity because aside from the fact that your at home, you get to spend less. But if you have the money to stash, it is always our first option to head to our favorite spa.

Indulge. But eat at your own risk. That’s the number one reminder we have to remember. Well, there are numerous of healthy snacks that groceries offer. And if you’re a good cook, then it is a plus. You can get to pick the right stuff for your own choice of dish. First thing first, balance your meal. Don’t forget to mix and match meat, veggies and fruits. For those who are not knowledgeable with cooking, there’s the handy-dandy cookbook that you can depend on. And if you want extra excitement, just want to sit and wait and you’re not afraid in trying out new dishes, head out to your fave restaurant. Just always eat the right foods. It only not distressed you but also makes you healthy.

Shopping. With or without money, because even window shopping is worth doing. But of course, shopping with money is more fun and exciting. Choosing from wide array of items can make us forget a thing or two for a while. If money isn’t a problem, then shop until you drop or if you like doing so. But what if, you don’t have enough dime? Not a hassle anyways…Looking around, shop to shop, item to item is not a sin. It even helps your visual skills. Reading is a vocabulary exercise. You get to know facts. And looking around gives us idea of what to buy the next time we’re ready to spend.

Exercise. Go to the nearest gym or play area. Invite some friends to play, maybe badminton, tennis or volleyball. Even if you don’t know the rules of the game or don’t know how, technically, it is not a bad thing to ask for help from someone who can teach you even the basic know hows. Physical activity does not only ease the burden away but also burn calories and bad cholesterol. If it’s rainy season and impossible for any outdoor activity, why not try solving crossword puzzle,

, or even on-line gaming. It is always best to divert attention to different things that will make your brain work as well.

Stress is only psychological. We can always counter the effect. Whenever there’s a problem, kick in the right solution as soon as we can.

And most of all keeping ourselves healthy is the most effective way to counter the stress. Be positive. Smile and laugh. Laughter is always the best medicine, even against stress.
