The Best Way to Have a Good Night’s Sleep

One of the best things in life is having a restful and good night’s sleep. A good sleep is something that no amount of money can buy. Many things can contribute to a restful sleep – like taking a warm shower, reading a nice relaxing book, listening to soothing music, etc. Before I sleep at night, this is what I do and it’s been very helpful. I would like to share it with everyone. I say a prayer to God and on it I tell Him all the things I am grateful for. I say it one by one, no matter how big or how small. I say thank you for all the blessings, the home, the family, the marriage, the kids, the love. I say thank you for all the blessings we normally take for granted. I pray for people and say their names one by one. I cast all my cares, concerns, worries and everything to Him. Praying gives me peace. I don’t think anything can surpass the power of prayer. I start and end the day with it. Don’t sleep with anger in your heart. If you have anxieties or worries troubling your mind, pray about it. Slowly, and tell Him everything. This enables me to have a good night’s sleep, and I hope it will help you too.
