The Braclet Experiment: How to Stop Complaining

Everyone hates complainers. It seems like all people do these days is complain. Here is a way to stop it.

A statistic reads that the average person complains about 8 times a day. For some people this number is drastically higher, and you have those strong willed people who do it like maybe twice a day.

My swim coach made us all non-complainers a few months ago. He devised a way to keep people from complaining ever. I will share this secret.

Everyone has at least one or two of these silicone wristbands, if not they are like a few bucks at the store. What you have to do is put it on one wrist and go throughout your day and every time you catch yourself complaining you have to switch wrists. The goal is to get a lower number of switches everyday. I have done this experiment for the past four months and I have just now started going through days where I do not complain what-so-ever.

It is something worth trying and sharing to other people. This world will be a better place if no one complained, and this is a way to get it started.

good idea. If you were a chronic complainer and overweight you would either lose weight because you were too busy exchanging your wrist band or you would stop complaining. Either way you could improve yourself.

There is another way to stop complaining, ask God to deliver you from complaining, and he will, then it will be gone.

What do you get when you put 10 Triond writers in the basement?

    A whine cellar.

After reading this article, I just realised how much I missed reading your articles littlekid! :D This is an amazing idea! Although if I wore one of those wrist bands I’d have to switch them at least a billion times a day because I complain A LOT! Should really try this out!
