The Human Third Eye

We have a very powerful organ within us that we can use at all times and use to our benefit and built it to be really strong. This is the human third eye. Read on to find out what this part of us is that can work even if all of the other sensory organs fail..

All of us have two eyes. So what? We see through them. We locate our surroundings. We get to know people. We learn through them. They are the single most important sensory organ in our body. If you were mute, things wouldn’t be bad because you could still see people and try to make some sort of hand signals to them. If you were deaf, again it wouldn’t be that bad because you could still lip read them. If you can’t feel because of paralysis, then it still is okay but when you lose your eyes, it’s like living in a dark room. Your eyes are the window to the world and it’s only through them how you can really build the world round you. It’s only through your eyes how you perceive the world and make judgements on what you see. But why is it really that our eyes are so important?

It’s because our eyes build up our human third eye. Imagination. Our eyes, build our world around us. They build up thoughts, actions, emotions and other parts of life around us. A person who is born blind has seen nothing apart from blackness or maybe blurry colours. They don’t have any eyes to build up the most important imagination in them because they haven’t seen the world. They don’t know what a blade of grass looks like and they don’t know what a razor blade looks like. BUT! Through the power of touch, they are still able to build up an image of these objects in their minds eye. Even though they don’t have any sight, it was imagination that ruled them.

Albert Einstein once said – “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create.”

How extremely true is he? Imagination allows us to access heights that we may have never imagined before. It was imagination that sparked a thought in Isaac Newton to think about gravity when an apple fell from a tree. It was imagination that ignited ideas into Leonardo da Vinci’s mind to produce some of the most complex and interesting pieces of work. It was imagination in Ludwig van Beethoven that allowed him to produce music of exceptional quality despite being deaf. Imagination is the human third eye because even if all of the sensory organs fail, our imagination still exists. It builds up through our eyes because our eyes see things and let us ponder more and delve further into how the world works. For a person who is deficit in sight, he or she can’t see to know how the world works but their powerful sense of hearing and touch enables them to build an imagination even though it might not be up to the standard of those who can see.

Our imagination is what has caused the world around us. Imagination sets thoughts off, which build into emotions, which then go on to become actions that are soon completed to make the world around us. Our imagination builds our world because if you are positive in your imagination, you build a world of happiness around you. If you are negative in your imagination, you build a world of sadness or depression around you. Your imagination makes you who you are according to what you see which is why I think it is the most powerful eye – the third eye. As writers and photographers on Triond, we use this third eye but it is equally essential to keep this third eye open at all times because we as creative people have developed it well.

I’d like to conclude by inspiring all of you through a quote because if I inspire you to imagine, that leads on to creativity which makes our world that we live in today a beautiful and wonderful place to live in.

John Lennon – Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.

Be inspired, be imaginative!

I don’t know how a blind person imagines something they have never see. They must see something with the inner eye but what it is, is beyond anything I can imagine.
