The Intriguing, Limitless Power of the Mind
I am a big believer in the power of the mind and power of positive thinking. When you believe in yourself, you shine and your glowing energy ("inner chi") attracts what you seek. When you believe in the beauty of your dreams, the world reflects back and opens its doors of opportunities to you. Beyond your greatest dreams.
About a week ago, I checked my yahoo email messages and happened to see a curious email from a lady whose name I did not recognize. The subject line said “Your Health Site”. Because spamming is so rampant, I almost deleted the message without giving it another thought; however, to my fortune, I clicked on it and was completely surprised.
The sender, Olivia Reynolds, who’s website blog can be found at Acne Assasin receives about 5-7,000 views per day. She wrote me to tell me that she noticed that I link to a charity on my blog that is closely related to her site and she was asking my permission to have my blog linked to hers! First of all, anyone who wants to link any of my work to your work, I wholeheartedly give permission to and thank you ahead of time with all my heart (just be sure to add only the link and not the actual text of my work). She went on to say that she thinks that her readers can benefit from my content.
Her message left me in total awe and humility. In addition, on that same day, I received another email from another reader who asked how he can subscribe to my blog. It was an incredibly humbling day for me. To think that somehow what I am producing other people can truly benefit from is a feeling, that is beyond indescribable.

The point of sharing these success stories is that no matter the rate of your writing progress, you never know when opportunities will come your way; you never know when a door of opportunity will open so wide that all your dreams come true. This is exactly why persistence and believing in your dreams unwaveringly is essential to your success.
I once read that the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that “successful people do, what unsuccessful people do not want to do”. Even baby steps in the direction of your dreams will still eventually bring you to your destination. The smallest step is one inch closer to your dreams than opting against that step to begin with.
So, keep working, keep sharing your work with the world and soon you will be receiving amazing requests for your limitless talents everyday! It is no longer a dream, it is your reality and you deserve every gift and blessing this world can offer you!

Awesome article. I’m a firm beleaver in positive thinking because thought is a very powerful force in that we manifest that which we think. Thought becomes manifestation of all things spiritual as well as physical. Super Write!

This is a very inspiring write and has given me more of an incentive to continue writing. I find linking difficult to do and have given up on it as my links never come up on my work, but I suppose I should persevere. Thank you for sharing your valuable experiences.

You’ve hit on one of the great things about the Triond Community. It is so nice to be able to write helpful things and have great feedback–or sometimes even just fuss a little. I wrote tidbits for years, but Triond keeps me writing daily.

Thanks for this article, Liane, it is very encouraging and inspiring. I cannot begin to imagine what this positive, healthy thinking, which I believe in, and the power of God unleashed in one’s life, could really do and achieve! Blessings to you!

Limitless power of the mind, wow! If we could grasp all that power and put it to good use, the world would be a better place, not perfect, but better. Great job.

Great piece. While positive thinking certainly helps, there are things beyond our control: both my sister and mother died from cancer, each believed and went about their business with a positive attitude that stunned even me. Myself, I was suppose to be a quadriplegic, then told I’d never work again. I refused to give in and after 8 years of recovery I went back to work ten years ago.
Thanks for such an uplifting piece.

My soul has just taken great joy in partaking from your words. Thank you for your wisdom, but above all your humility. I’ve added you as a friend on my Triond profile because I desire to follow your work closely.
I began as a writer, not because I wanted to earn, but like you, I wish to touch just one person, with a gift that God has given me. I hope that you will do me the great honour and drop by my profile.
From one fellow writer to the next. May his blessings be yours and may angels continue to sing over you with joy.
