The Self-Improvement Course 1

Do you want to be someone else, are you unable to act the way you want in certain situations? Or do you just want a revamped social life. If so forget everything you have been taught about being popular and be ready to face the cold hard truth. This is truly the best way to changing your life.

No one likes to read bulky paragraphs. So I will break it down into bullets and small sentences.

The Mindset

You are not as special as you think you are. Sure you’ve been told to be yourself and all, and that’s okay if you wanna feel good for a little bit. But the cold hard truth is that the problem is YOU. If You weren’t so stubborn you would learn things from people. If You weren’t so shy, you could go introduce yourself to people and have more friends.

Getting things into Perspective:

  • Picture how long a 10 mile line of chalk is. This is how long the earth has been in existence.
  • If you wanted to know how long humans have been on earth in proportion to this 10 mile line, you would only get a line about a centimeter long.
  • This 10 mile line  is 1,609,304 times longer than the amount of time humans have inhabited the earth.

Imagine how short our life is.

We make no impact on this earth.

None of our problems or worries are anywhere near as big and important as Time itself.

When you realize this you understand how small and painless our worries are.

Whether it be about asking out a girl, problems with friends, grades, or any part of our social life.

Yeah, it may be depressing, but it is also very enlightening.

It’s not worth it to spend time crying about your life, because it is so short.

Live life to the fullest because in that 10 mile long  chalk line, and in that 1 centimeter of humanities existence, our lives are smaller than a piece of chalk dust.

When you lie in bed tonight think about what you read.

Pt. 2 Coming when I know people enjoyed this part.

sure what you wrote may be right, or right from a particular perspective, but as most of the people who may be looking for self-improvement are not generally happy people, many of them may suffer depression… and you may have just made it worse.

This article tries to give the message that life is short, all your problems aren’t really that bad in the big scheme of things. If you don’t take anything from my writing at least realize this: Life is too short to feel sorry for yourself. And what you said about me making it worse for people. I lived my life in depression because of a medical condition that gave me a disfigured body and face. This information was the first step into being happy with who I am.
