The World of the Celebrity: Being Famous
A daring insight into the life of being a “star”.
So, you want to be famous? Become rich and successful, drive fancy cars and have a big house? Want everyone to know who you are? Well, I don’t. And let me tell you, I am not alone.
I have spent some time researching and watching the lives of ’stars’. Are they happy? No. Thankful? No. Don’t get me wrong, you get the odd one who actually is grateful for the chances that they have been given. But every time I turn on TV or open a magazine there is always some sort of article about how such and such didn’t want they’re photo taken, or punched the paparazzi. Whatever. But don’t they realise that it’s them that keep them in their fancy clothes and shoes? I say we stop caring about these superficial idiots.
After watching and documenting some findings, I discovered that most of them take their situations for granted. I mean, we’ve all heard of celebs who don’t think twice about spending thousands and thousands on a handbag. Eh, don’t they realise that there’s a recession going on? What a way to alienate people. I like nice, girlie things as much as the next person, but flaunting the fact that because you once, a million years ago, dated a footballer or C list star, and are still reaping rewards for being an untalented bimbo, what’s that all about?
As I said before, you do get the genuinely talented, real star of this faux world. The ones who help charities, and don’t parade themselves around town, looking like idiots. I have a kind of respect for them. Using your sway to help others less fortunate. I like that.
In fact, I might even try it myself
