Time Management: Are You Being Eaten Alive by These Monsters?

Time management is the most blogged subject right after success. Here is how I personally gave up almost all my time-eaters.

Reading the news is probably the first thing you do in the morning. I used to that too about one year ago in the morning all over the day and before going to bed. It just so happens that instead of learning something useful I was just burning time and learning very little because most posts were made of opinions, made of this says that, I think it will be… and etc and no real value for me. In the end I would learn something but not enough to be profitable. Just like a business where you have some revenue but not enough to cover all the expenses.

How to solve this problem? Give up all the blogs you read and all the news sites you read. Never access Google Reader. Just like anything new or anything you change, the first time will be the hardest, then it will be easier all the time then finally you make it. I do not use Google Reader for about six months now!

The next huge time eater is the email. I always subscribe to sites to get updates, software, reports etc, but if you take a close look they are just making money out of you, at eh expense of your wallet and your time. Now I never read those emails, I just skip them to the Achieve immediatelly. I know I am missing something, but if I read them I will miss something even more valuable! Never read emails that are not critical. If you get an update for something, just ignore it, you will see it the next time you access your account anyway. If you get some jokes, tag them for you to read and watch in a boring noon.

Google is another big time waster. Each day people spend more time with it and now I just gave up Google. I am almost reaching the 30000 queries mark and I only opened my account in 2006 almost ending! How to give up Google? If you have a website you will see how inaccurate Google still is and most of the times you will get just bad sites, so why bother learning this and that? Maybe you are even getting the wrong information!
