Top 10 Ways to Say I Love You

Top 10 ways to say "I love you" to your significant other. Providing they are human. Some ideas for Christmas perhaps too?

Right so either your at the point in marriage or a new relationship where you want a new, exiting and creative way of saying I love you. Here are some sure ways of getting that message out of the bottle, putting it up on neon lights, and having it sung to her from the top of the Eiffel Tower by Michael Buble. Before I begin, this is more orientated towards a girlfriend/wife. You are more than welcome to test this on your male partner but…be warned it may not work out the same. Maybe just buy him The Godfather box-set and that should keep him happy for weeks to come.

…No that’s not exactly what I meant. You could try that but here are some slightly better ways!

1. Are you musical? Then write her a song! Play it live to her if you can. Or you can do what I did by recording it and editing out the mistakes.

2. Write her a poem! Wow… cheesy or what? It sure is, but what better way to say I love you than by the ways of that great romantic, William Shakespeare.

3. Cook and bake for her! Cook her a nice romantic meal, and/bake her something. I’ve noticed most females like heart shapes. So bake heart shaped cookies! Granted. You will loose some manly points. But it’s worth it to see her beautiful smile and appreciation. As long as you didn’t burn it all. In fact I’m sure even if you did burn it all, she would still appreciate the fact that you tried.

4. Let them win at something. So I’m pretty competitive and this was the hardest thing to do EVER! But the point of this isn’t arrogance, it’s to show you care more about them than a stupid game/sport. That win or loose doesn’t matter, since you already won her heart.

5. Be there for them. Listen! This is not an easy feat for men but hey, you can do it! Make sure you let them know that you are always there for them, no matter what troubles they face. Hold them through the bad times, and celebrate with them in the good. Make sure they know they are not a burden by sharing their troubles, but they are a blessing, since you are blessed with the opportunity to be there for the one you love.

6. A microwaveable teddy or slippers- with a hint of lavender. Women always complain they are cold, especially hands and feet. So why not get them a teddy, which they all love anyway, but one to keep them warm when you aren’t there to. Or even the slippers version! It truly is a brilliant invention!

7. Watch a romantic comedy with her! Painful I know… but some aren’t actually that bad…

8. Surprise gift. The better ones are hand made but she will appreciate a gift out of no where, no occasion, no apology just a big, warm I LOVE YOU!
