Top Tip for Personal Growth: Do Something New
How can we expect to grow if we do the same things again and again? If we feel comfortable that we do, complacency can set in.
. On the other hand, when actively expand our comfort zones and do things that scare us a bit, we can achieve new levels of growth.
The excitement and fear are basically on the same continuum. Emotion contains a small element of fear, while fear does little emotion.
Actively seeking to do things that normally scare you. What do you admire in other s wishing you could also do? Could you go out and eat in a fancy restaurant where you dine with people of a social class much higher?
May take more work to see how to handle the pressure? Could a volunteer coach for the sport your child when you’re not the kind of leader? Could you spend more money than you normally would when you buy something good for you?
The more you practice doing things that do not feel comfortable doing more to get used to feeling uncomfortable. Discomfort is only temporary … which are so familiar to something that reaches a level of comfort.

You will feel proud and somewhat euphoric Once you’ve tried something new. The first time is always the hardest. But when you’re used to and feel good knowing that after trying this new thing will become less painful.
It is too easy (and frankly boring) to keep doing the same things you normally do. The variety is truly the spice of life. This does not mean the abandonment of all things new. This means that the mixture of new people, new situations and new ideas in his present life.
After doing this, you will feel more alive and dynamic. You can almost feel that something is wrong if you try to do something new. Commit to at least 3 new things each week. This could be a new way of thinking, a conversation with someone you do not know well and eating a new type of food.
Have fun expanding your comfort zone. Your personal growth will accelerate faster than you think!
