Wake Up Refreshed

For an energized morning, prepare the night before and have a positive life.

With work deadlines and a task-filled say ahead, we tend to wake up feeling bogged down, thinking of all that needs to be tackled through the day. Even before you’ve started your day feel sapped, isn’t it? Well, the golden rule of waking up energized in the morning is to prepare well the night before.

Start planning for the day ahead, sorting what you will eat or wear the next morning. Have a light dinner and get ready for bed after a gap of at least 1-2 hours. Before you are about to hit the snooze button, meditate for a short while. Run through the events of the day and put your mind at rest by thinking positive.

Remember three essential points:

  • You Have It In You: Remind yourself that you are the best creation of nature, and nature will provide you the energy for all your daily chores. The truth is that you are never faced with a challenge that is beyond your capacity or potential.

  • Beat The Odds: Here, you also need to promise yourself that no matter what you are faced with, you will do it to the best of your ability, without thinking about the results. It is best to be simple, honest, straightforward and you will sail through everything that comes your way.  Remember, every situation is meant for your growth and evolution. Nothing that happens to you is frivolous.

  • Be Positive: Use this meditation time to feed your system with positive and progressive thoughts. Don’t be judgmental, hypocritical or guilty. Instead, be at peace with yourself of all the resolutions you made the night before. Start your day with a glass of lukewarm water with a little honey in it. Listen to soothing music.

Try this, and watch yourself sail through the day, energized as ever.

Gr8 article. I always hit the snooze button and sleep for about 15 mins. Everybody asks me why I keep an alarm when I’m not going to wake up when it starts to alarm. I also meditate for about 5 mins before I get up from my bed.

Awesome article, I need to wake up more refreshed, I have gotten a bit sluggish lately, I have always planned ahead, from what I am wearing to what or where I should be by what time.
I need to incorporated a more “one with nature” approach, even thou I live in a noisy city area.
