What You Don’t Know is Killing You

There is a rising presence of suspicious gases in Earth’s atmosphere.

While there may not be a front page story on the news or mass deaths around the world, there is a serious threat to everyone on this planet: Rising presence of suspicious gases in earth’s atmosphere. The air that everything on this earth breathes is composed of: 78.08% Nitrogen (N), 20.95% Oxygen, and 2% of various assorted gases. Most people simply look at this and assume that everything is as it should be, and there is nothing to worry about. However, with the rapid progression of global warming, and the ever increasing industrialization of modern America, there is a larger presence of gases in the air. While there is nothing to worry about in the immediate future, we as a people do need to start trying to conserve energy and reduce emissions. A few helpful tips:

  • Try using public transportation: Yeah, I know, most people really hate taking the bus. I know I used to, I have a car, why take a bus? But if you live in a large city, this can really help reduce your carbon footprint.
  • Better yet, Walk!: Walking from place to place, or using a bicycle, is becoming more and more popular among people, and is a great way to not only take care of yourself, but reduce your emissions.
  • Use a Waterbottle!!: This is a big one. The emissions that are outputted in creating plastic waterbottles like those you would find in a store are HUGE! Instead, if your going to need water, bring a bottle that you can reuse.
