Where Has All The Time Gone?

Stop wishing for the weekends and enjoy today; because that is where your time has gone.

I woke up this morning, and as I lay there thinking, my age is up, my bones are creaking and yet I feel just as I did when I was in my twenties. What has happen?

Then I get out of bed, and my creaking bones remind me of my age; and as the day moves on, the wisdom of life comes shinning through. Then I realize I am not that young twenty year old, but I refuse to let it bother me.

I get my body moving as I “oil” my stiff joints, smile as I go through my day; and keep my sense of humor. If you lose your sense of humor, and you can’t laugh anymore; it is then that you have truly grown old, and then time has caught up with you.

Stop now and enjoy life, it is your most precious gift.

In the years that have past, I have done some crazy things, some bad things; and things I share with nobody; but what I have learned is that when I lay my head upon my pillow at night I am grateful that I was able to enjoy another wonderful day. I don’t spend the week wishing it was Friday, or waiting for summer to come; I take each day and enjoy it to the best of my ability. It is there when you’re wishing for the days to pass, that you have allowed yourself to wish your life away.

Enjoy today, you may not have many tomorrows

I used to always wish for Friday to come because I was unhappy in my job, but now I have retired I find every day is a wonderful and I am so thankful for what I have. An uplifting piece.

I loved it! Age is just a number and we are only as old as we feel.
