Where Should You Aim Your Goal to?

Should you aim low? Should you aim medium? Should you aim high?

I read in most personal development websites and book that we should always aim higher than what we can achieve.

William Shakespeare said our aspirations should always be many times bigger than what we are really capable of, this way we are always looking for the sky and this is what the sky is god for.

Why such big goal? If we fail to achieve such big thing, at least we tried it and like Lance Armstrong says, it’s better to feel pain now for a while, than not trying and feel that pain forever.

When you try to achieve something huge, your whole body and brain will start to change themselves carefully with great precision to achieve that goal. Suddenly you will start to have ideas about how to get closer to the goal, ideas you never had before. Thomas Edison used to say that ideas come from the Space.

In two articles I published previously I talked about how your brain learns, how to change itself, and how it learns how to change your body in accordance to the efforts you make. Aiming higher will make your brain adapt itself to a higher way of life, thus making bigger and better decisions.

Another reason to aim higher is you will almost never hit something you do not aim for. Try to fire a pistol aiming at something you do not want to hit, chances are you will. On the other hand if you do not aim to what you want, chances are you will not hit it too.

While you are working, your brain is making trillions of connections between the neurons every second. If you remove your skulls your brain will look like a static amount of rose matter (because of the blood) but the truth is the brain is the most active and energetic part of your body, something you can see under a powerful microscope.

If after aiming so high you do not hit your target, at least you were on your good way to make it.

I always aim medium to ensure I won’t become full of myself or fall to low! Nice write!
