Why Be Poor When You Can be Rich?
This articles gives you a plan to get rich using just a few simple tasks.
Have you ever said to yourself?
Life is hard for me
I can’t afford that
I just wish I were rich
I never seem to get ahead
I have money now but something will come along and take it
There’s always more month at the end of the money
I can’t get that until payday
I’m flat broke
I don’t have money to do that
What if I told you that for every dollar that you receive you could choose to be poor, middle class, or rich? It is all in your mindset and the actions you take. No, this is not some New Age mumbo jumbo. I can show you three things you can do right now that will lead you toward a wealthy life. But let’s see why you are poor first. Oh, you say you are not poor? Well, let’s see.
In the following example, which person are you? Two people walk into a store. The poor person looks at a brand new big screen TV. In his mind he begins to go through his budget, cash on hand, bills and incoming finances and finally decides that he just does not have enough money to buy the TV right now. Maybe he can get it with his Christmas bonus if it is big enough this year. Another person looks at the same TV and immediately his thoughts turn to what action do I have to take to make owning this TV a reality.
Which person were you in the example? The first person is an example of “poverty thinking”. He automatically puts himself in a position of lack and poverty. All of the excuses for being poor that I wrote at the start of this article are examples of how people put themselves into a state of poverty – BY THEIR THINKING!
The second person in the example exhibits the “wealth mindset”. He automatically places himself in a position of ownership! That is the only difference between these two people! If you want it, you have to think of an action to take that will get it!
So, how can you change your mind from thinking in terms of poverty to thinking in terms of wealth? I will give you three things that you can do that will totally change your life from being one of poverty and lack to one of wealth in all areas of your life. To do this you will need one sheet of notebook paper and a pencil.

You have touched on the key to moving from poor to rich that so many miss or discount: our thinking.
I grew up in an environment surrounded by many poverty thinkers, but focused my attention, even as a child on the ones who took action to improve their situations and achieve their goals. This was before I ever heard of the law of attraction or positive thinking. Thankfully I patterned my life after those who in my mind seem to be on the right path, and as a result have accomplished many things on my to-be and to-do list.
This one concept of positive thinking, once grasped, will turn anyone’s life around. Thanks for sharing this article.
