Working on the Solution, Not the Problem

Seven Steps to learn how to evaluate your problems.

In most cases we trying to fix the financial burdens and stress that come into our lives trying to take care of ourselves and our love ones in struggling times.  Are the problems we have caused because of our own faults or negative thoughts?  Some of my worst but most valuable lessons in life I learned because I cause the thought to take effect on me.  The mind is a powerful thing, to be reckoned with.  So what are ways to think around the problems in life?

  1. Start clearing your thoughts, the best ideas come to you on a clear head, do some crosswords or some Sudoku for a couple of minutes it will boost your mind into full gear.
  2. Visualization is a way practice in many religions and in yoga, it helps calm your nerves and it also will give you spiritual healing, for the mind and body, start by thinking of some where you love like a beautiful sunny beach.
  3. Analyzing the problem, look at the what is the cause to the problem, you need to sit down and role play the situation in your mind, until you can see what the issue is and the source of the problem.  It is common that we put blame on someone before we can emit we were wrong, but understanding your wrong is a valuable way of learning something.
  4. Do some research! This is common that people mistake in not thinking of exploring for solutions to their problems, they think that it only happens to them.  But your mistaken the best advice you can get is from someone else experiences.  Whether it’s talking to your friends, sending e-mails, or just Google the problem see how many other posts you will find out there.  There may be a way of looking at a solution you never thought of doing before.
  5. Practice makes perfect, so they say.  It is one way of learning the mistakes you make, is by constant practice.  If you have to do it over and over it is well worth the time of getting it right once.  The best part is looking back at what you accomplished even if it’s something you’re not happy doing, at least you know you can do it, and it’s not something you will struggle doing anymore.
  6. Trusting yourself. It is something we stop doing at one point, and then we have to get back on the horse and ride on.  To find the solutions in yourself and believe in what you are, and what you can do in this life, is the key to success.  It’s the understanding of what you are that makes you shine.  Like putting on the turn signals in the car, you trust that you’re following your own direction. You are making the path for yourself in your life.
  7. Follow up.  Looking at the solutions in life is always going to keep you on a positive thinking pattern in life.  But what if there is another way of solving something more to make it easier.  It something we forgot to take the time to understand, because the idea of if it’s not broke why fix it.  Because there is always another answer to something we can’t see.  I think of engineers and inventors when I think of this idea because they are always looking for a better method or new idea to solving the problems that may occur, or not really problems just minor faults to understand, to fix them and move on.
