You Can Succeed Where You Have Failed Before
It is possible for you to succeed where others have failed. Do not allow your past failures to stop you from moving forward. Render selfless service to mankind like Joshua did for Moses in the Bible. If you fail at first, try, try and try again.
When was the last time you took a step of faith and made decisions that seemed impossible in the eyes of people? When was the last time you did something in a way different from the normal way? Step out of the box, move forward and succeed. It is possible.
Friend, are you afraid to venture because of past failures? Have you decided not to expand your business simply because the last time you tried ended in a loss? Are you scared of entering new relationships simply because some people have deceived you in the past? Is your fear because you made some wrong investment decisions and lost heavily? It is natural to be afraid. It is normal to be cautious after many disappointments. The children of Isreal and Joshua according to the Bible felt the same way. After they had been defeated by Ai due to the sins of Achan, they suffered a crisis of confidence. But when the Lord stepped into the situation, Joshua was encouraged to go on to rout Ai, the same nation that had humiliated their army earlier.
This goes to confirm that God is able to do all things. If you try at first and dont succeed, try, try, try again. You will definitely succeed where you have failed before.
Again, an important factor that should not be ignored is selfless service. Before Joshua was lifted, he had been Moses’s personal servant for a long time. He must have known that the way to top starts from the bottom and that is why he continued to serve Moses until the appointed time for his lifting. If you desire to get to the top, you should learn to serve others.
