How to Psych The Mind
We often need to psych the mind when we have goals we are afraid we cannot accomplish. The following tips should help us feel stronger, and psych ourselves up to give us greater confidence.
We all have times when we have to psych up our minds, whether it’s a task we feel unprepared for, or something we really want to achieve. We can use a combination of the following rules to psych ourselves up.

1. Set clear realistic goals. If the goal is too large approach it in small steps.
2. Make a list of your strengths and good qualities that will help you reach your goal. See how they apply to the goal you wish to achieve.
3. List and follow checklists and schedules to keep you focused on your goal.
4. Before you tackle a task, imagine yourself doing it. Imagine any snags and how to overcome them.
5. Don’t be afraid to ask for help
6. Be aware of procrastination.
7. Avoid anything that will stop you from reaching your goal.

8. Promise yourself a treat when your goal is accomplished.
9. Dress comfortably to to meet your challenge.
10. Carry a good luck charm or wear a piece of lucky clothing.

11. Imagine your goal accomplished and see how good it feels.
12. Now reward yourself for a job well done.

Ruby this is, in my opinion, one of the best articles you have written. A simple and concise set of actions to acheive ones goals. Everyone deserves the life they want and if they follow steps like these they can get it.

Thank you, Ruby. I’m going to have to psych up big time if I’m ever to catch up with commenting doing only one or two a day. I’m not a very good computer fixer-upper but I’ve got it on life support for awhile…hopefully.
