These are few friends while taking an evening stroll talk making a lot of interesting health related conversations.

‘Let’s go to the market.’ Tarun peeped into my room through gap in my half shut door. I was collapsed in my chair, listening to gazhals by Mirza Ghalib sung by Jagjeet Singh. I paused the song, mulled over and then, decided to go. I like strolls.

Evening was slowly fading into night. Roads had been lightened by street lights. Trees on both sides were looking like a long, huge arced entrance. There were some people walking leisurely on footpath. It was looking pleasant.

‘Why are we going to the market?’ I asked.

‘Just going. We will eat something- coconut water, some jalebis, sweets…’ Tarun merged the sentence into his jolly silence.

‘Wow, TKT, these days, you have been pulling us all out of our rooms for these small wanders. What has got into you?’ I was unable to understand the change in him.

‘When else did you go?’ Ketan was not a part of our last wander.

‘We went to eat sattu paranthas.’ Swapnil was quick to respond in a happy manner.

‘Next day, I had a running stomach. They had put lots of spice in it.’ I explained the consequences.

‘It takes you a while to adjust. The first time, I had those paranthas, I too was sick.’ Tarun shared my agony.

‘I would rather not go.’ Practical Ketan said practically.

‘You would not understand the joy in the small things.’ Tarun asserted as an old friend.

‘If you know that paranthas are unhealthy, then you should not eat them.’ The practical friend was insuppressible.

‘They were not unhealthy; they just had lots of spice.’ I was tutoring again.

Spices are actually beneficial if taken in balanced amounts. That is why they have always been part of Indian food. My grandmother used to make me take a spoonful turmeric powder – it tasted yuck – with warm milk before sleep, to suppress cold.

‘You know, I am going to have coconut water only. It is beneficial for the stomach and it keeps the face clean.’ I tried in vain to bring their attention to the medicinal values of coconut water.

‘Look at that girl.’ I signaled Ketan towards a girl, jogging.

‘She is not good.’ Ketan always had high expectations.

‘Come on man, she has a nice figure; you cannot even see her face.’ I tried to get approval out of him.

‘She has not but I like the fact that she is working on it.’ He smiled in you know what way.

‘oooooo!!!’ I replicated his smile.

We had reached the market by then.

‘Do you want to have jalebis?’ Tarun asked.

‘No, I am full.’ I said.

‘They are very tasty. You sure you don’t want them?’ Swapnil offered.

‘No, one should not eat when he is not hungry.’ I had to vomit some wisdom.

We were roaming around in the small market place. It had a basic rectangular structure with shops lined on the perimeter. Most of them had openings on the inside. In the central part there were three to four clusters of shops.

‘What are you doing here all by yourself?’ I called out to Manu in distance.

‘Nothing, just….’ He left it incomplete, flashing his full twenty cigarette packet by his side.

‘Oh! A whole packet?’ I said without putting any thought to it.

‘I feel lazy to come to the market again and again.’ Manu said in his modest bright smiling tone – he was a year junior to me.

‘When you have more cigarettes, you consume more.’ Ketan remarked.

‘You should eat some bananas. What happened to the protein powder?’ I asked in a brotherly way. ‘You should exercise and then eat protein powder- about 1.2 grams or so per kg of your weight per day.’

‘It is still there. I can’t find the time to exercise. So, I am not consuming protein. It will be wasted.’ Manu told me.

‘Oh, well, ok then, I got to go.’ Our ways diverged.

When you join an online dating service, you are looking for a girl that you can like…even come to love. That girl is looking for a guy that SHE can like or even love. What you aren’t looking for is a girl who would like your best friend or your idea of what the perfect guy looks like or talks like or thinks like. So, in order to find the right girl for you…and she IS out there…you need to be completely honest with yourself about yourself when writing the online profile, during the dating process and beyond.

The best way to begin writing your profile is to carefully analyze your past relationship (s). What was right? What was wrong? What things really made you like the last girl? Which didn’t? Don’t assume that just because you hated that your last girl was so totally self-involved that she couldn’t see anything else, you’ll be able to overlook that quality this time. You won’t.

If you aren’t 6’1” with a six-pack to be proud of, don’t claim to be. If you are a bar tender, don’t claim to be a lawyer with a six figure income. If you are 40 going on 50, don’t pretend to be 30 something.

Remember, the idea here is to find a girl who will like you exactly like you are. If you have lied in your profile, the first face-to-face meeting will remove all her doubt that you are a liar…and probably a cheat, as well.

Lastly, once you have found a girl that you believe can be the one for you, for goodness sakes, cancel your membership to the online dating service. After all, you know and she knows that online dating services are intended for those who are looking…not those who have found or been found.

Been there, here to help.

For this I am specifically referring to weed. For other highs, it may work for some but not for all. I’m assuming at the moment you’re having a bad high, hence you’re here reading this. So I’ll just get started.

You may feel like your throat is closing, or your tongue is swelling. This is just called “cotton-mouth”. What I recommend if you have it (or for future reference), is drink coconut water. I prefer Zico brand. If you don’t have coconut water, drink some other sort of fruit juice. Just, coconut water hydrates best. If you have no fruit juice, try something else that will capture your taste buds attention. This works for me. Water is an option, but I just find other options better. But this can work. Maybe eat something that doesn’t involve much chewing, and not much of a possibility of choking on in a state of panic.

If you’re having a bad high in this way or even another way, tell yourself you had something totally natural – weed. It has yet to kill someone. You did what billions of other people have done, and all of them lived. You will be fine, it’s just a bad high. And then just relax and stay away from tripped out things. Maybe watch a funny TV show. Nothing startling.

I hope some of these tips help. Let me know below. Also, if anyone has any other suggestions, leave those below as well! Or simply just your thoughts. “Like” and share with friends if you liked this article.

This is a guide on how my friends, family and I amuse each other daily. This guide is intended to inspire creativity.

The best jokes already exist although when somebody is witty enough to pull a funny joke immediately from a conversation it is 10X more amusing. One way to be better at being on your wits is to be keen to language and puns, metaphors, similes; you get the picture.

Most of the best jokes are easily found on hilarious shows! The classic joke that everybody loves is, “That’s what she said!” Of course it is used constantly by people like the character Steve Carrel plays in the TV program The Office. Of course it is funnier that he laughs at himself when he says this making it hard to say it seriously. It is inappropriate so don’t use it at the wrong time.

This next joke originally comes from a comic strip website called Explosm.net. It is fun to use when speaking to pretty much anybody. It is called twicing people. What you do is say, “what?” to somebody during conversation and after the repeat what they have said u shout out, “TWICE!” It is funny because the person feels ignorant because you actually had heard what they said. Here’s how it is used one more time.

Jarred – “Hey what do you want on your pizza?”

Tammy – “sausage and pepperoni.”

Jarred – “what?”

Tammy – “sausage and pepperoni!”

Jarred – “twice!”

Tammy – “damn!”

One more joke you can use that I and many others find to be great is calling out people who use Proper Nouns. The way you point them out is by calling them a name dropper. It is great to learn how to use Pronouns and frankly more polite.

Time is precious for everyone and spending it for waiting or doing something that is not that valuable simply means that we are wasting this precious time. Maybe, due to some reasons, we may not feel the effects or consequences of us, wasting our time over something nonsense. However, if we think about it thoroughly, we realize, that we are wasting not just our time but our lives as well. Not just our own lives but as well as the people we interact with.

Every second counts. That is how valuable time is. Being punctual is a part of improving our personality. Being punctual reflects us as someone who is responsible and trustworthy. Being punctual helps us value our time but how exactly are we going to become one. It’s not an immediate act. There are steps to follow. Let’s take one step at a time. Here are some steps to help us make our way towards punctuality and make our time more valuable.

1. Acknowledge your Kryptonite. “YOU are not punctual”. Unless you admit to yourself your weakness, you cannot step up and reach your goal.

2. Be Time-Conscious. It’s not really that necessary that you buy new Rolex or Timex. The clock on your phone is enough. Always wear your watch and make sure that it gives you an accurate time.

3. Rise and Shine Sleepyhead. Wake up when you are supposed to wake up. The usual picture is, when the alarm rings, you get out of bed and throw your alarm clock to the trash bin. Poor thing! It’s not its fault that it rang. You set it up, you throw yourself! Kidding! No. Discipline yourself and follow your schedule. Don’t be tempted by your soft pillows and your warm blankets. They won’t help you reach your goal. What goal? PUNCTUALITY.

4. 15 Minute Flash. Be 15 minutes early to everything. Try as hard as you can to get or reach to something 15 minutes early. People will truly respect you for that.

5. Watch yourself. Observe and take note of your daily activities and determine where do you spend much of your time. This will help you minimize those activities and terminate or stop those activities that are not really that useful.

6. Stick Notes helps. Make a note where you should be in a time. Always carry with you your planner. Stick notes on your wall, in your fridge or even on your door walls so you’ll be reminded everytime.

7.Keep Organized. Keep all your stuffed properly arranged. You don’t want to spend your time looking for your misplaced ballpen. Do you?

8. Plan ahead. Planning is a must. Through planning, you will be able to determine and identify those activities that you are about to do in the future.

9. Go to sleep on time. Stop staying up all night just checking out you Facebook account. Your body is not a machine. You don’t want to slow down, do you? Have enough time of rest so you have a full load of energy for the next.

These are all for now. Remember, if you practice it all the time, it’ll become a habit and what’s next could be you being responsible, good mannered and Punctual.

An introduction to the political concept of the third way and its implications?

The Third Way is a now largely-discredited political ideology that sought to supercede the supposedly outmoded ideologies of left and right. It is most commonly associated with the New Labour administration of Prime Minister Tony Blair but has been witnessed to a variety of degrees in many other countries. However, with the possible exception of some East Asian states, it seems to have little if any future as a sustainable ideological position – it was Blair’s willingness to participate in the attack on Iraq that was the single-most important event marking the death of Third Way-ism.

Superficially, a Third Way approach seems attractive to many people because it suggests moderation, the avoidance of problematic extreme positions and, hence, limiting the possibility of conflict. Many religious and philosophical traditions favour a middle position – Aristotle spoke of the ‘golden mean, for example, while the historical Buddha established by trial-and-error a similar position as half-in and half-out of human society by his rejection of asceticism as the sole means of approaching enlightenment. Research in a variety of fields indicates that people, when they do not have a strong opinion about a subject or reason for thinking in a specific way, will respond to uncertainty by joining a central position which is also occupied by many other people. A whole raft of discourse has been invented as a pretext for this avoidance of thought or proper acquisition of data, from ‘moderation in all things’ to ‘not rocking the boat.’ The dangers of mutely joining an apparent majority are evident from many dictatorial regimes of the twentieth century.

In the case of Third Way politics, the concept was to eliminate socialism as a means of transforming society – indeed, it abandoned any claim to transform society radically – and instead to rely on different types of ‘compassionate’ capitalism or ‘capitalism with a human face’ as a means of delivering not social justice but a sufficiently flexible means of distributing state resources to ensure the continued preservation of the privileges, wealth and status of the rich. The Third Way concept has of course been incorporated by the right wing into its ‘reform’ agenda that claims that the concept and practical details of social welfare belong to the now abandoned left-leaning past. It has been used as a supplementary pretext in some cases to justify slashing public services, privatizing state-owned organizations and all the other aspects of the neo-rightist approach.

However, there have been some more positive aspects. The changing demographics of human society, with its ageing and greying population, for example, requires some response with respect to provision for elderly people and their responsibilities to society.

She was given the name Zana by Russian researchers after she was captured naked and living in the wilderness by hunters in the Ochamchir region of Georgia in the year 1850. From all accounts, she was the closest thing to a live, captured version of a Bigfoot creature on record. Some thought she might have been a throwback to the Neanderthal.

Zana was described as something between a human and an ape. She showed some degree of intelligence after some time in captivity, although she never developed the ability to speak or adopt social skills. Some said she was capable of doing hard labor such as grinding grain and farm work, but little more.

Even though she lived at a time when cameras were around, we could find no surviving photographs of either Zana, or any of the four children she reportedly bore following her capture. The children were sired by various unidentified males, and were said to have been relatively normal humans even though they all possessed some of the physical characteristics of their mother.

Tips on dealing with criticism.

Admit it. No one is immune to criticism, although people seems to love criticizing others very much. But, realizing if no one can be perfect all the time might make us feel better.

Cool down. Getting too emotional means you are opening another chance for them to criticize you. Everybody has got the right to share their opinion, even though their opinions might upset you.

Open your mind. You might think what they have said is wrong, but they think the otherwise around. People have different angle in viewing so many thing in life. Try to understand their point of view before giving any appropriate respond.

Never take it too personal. Taking things too personal is equal to torturing yourself. So, let it go and see how things flow.

Asking why and how. Ask for more information on the thing being criticized. Use the information to do some reality check or finding new solutions.

Be quiet. Replying criticism with another criticism might spark unnecessary debate. So, be quiet when there were no better things to say.

Second opinion might be needed. Ask for a fair opinion from others. That way you can be sure whether the criticism is right or wrong.

Get used to it. Life is a long journey and you’ll never know when you’ve got to deal with another criticism. So, once you’ve managed to deal with a criticism in a calm and positive way, just keep it that way.
