U.S. scientists said they have succeeded in the development of self-propelled machine Nanonah able to attack the cancer cells inside the human body accurately.

The researchers reported in a study conducted under the supervision of Sean Douglas from the University of Harvard, Massachusetts
American, published Thursday in the journal “Science” that the U.S. This machine, developed along the lines used by the immune body itself consists of DNA folded and can be cooked in principle to become appropriate for the target cell.

However, the researchers pointed out at the same time that this machine has not been tested so far only in laboratory and farm it is not clear yet whether this machine will be used once within the human.

The researchers pointed out that there is a difference other research conducted experiments in this direction as well.

And machine-like hexagonal cage up 45 nanometers (a nanometer is one million mm) and thickness of 35 nanometers, which means that the thickness of less than two thousand times the thickness of the human head hair.

And consists of the cage which was attached using a technique called “DNA er origami” of two halves remain coherent by Latches especially made are similar to white blood cells, so that recognize target cells and landing on its surface, such as cancer cells, for example, shifts the latch as soon as landing machine on the cell and opens the cage with room for many of the active substances in this way up to the place of work.

The scientists during the experiment to download these machines self-propelled tanker molecular materials that will activate the characteristic self-suicide inside the cells, characteristic of those which are usually dysfunctional in cancer cells before they do these materials.

The scientists were able, through this method in vitro activation of characteristic self-destruction of cancer cells in the blood and lymph cells using carrier molecules for each of these cells separately.

The researchers explained that they were able to activate Similarly _khasasat multiple cells to be dealt with.

In the next step planned to researchers, who inspired the idea of studying the function of the human immune system try this technique on mice, “which will require a design the best for this machine is self-propelled, so as to ensure rotation, performance and function well in the circulation of mice,” according to the researchers who have indicated they also the need to pressure the production costs of this machine.

Source: German

Tips to Overcome Child A Lazy Learning

Be some days ago I had a discussion with my friend sekos, he first told me about her brother who are lazy to study but soon he will face the final test elementary school graduation. Sebuat just called “Ardi”, Ardi This includes children who can not learn well or are lazy, if he learned it was just to avoid the nagging sister and ibunyan who always told him to learn, and predictable as long as he’s in the study conducted was only pretending to study or learn poorly, the school was just a routine day that just pass you by, just to obey their parents.

What happens to Ardi actually the more experienced school-age children in our society. Countless how many parents have complained and was disappointed with his son the value of the sag (bad) because of his lazy learning, and vice versa we are also not uncommon to find children cranky or crying because always told to learn. There are people who know her scolding, threatening the child for not going to buy this and that if the child does not learn, compare her with other children, or even some parents who use violent means (pinched, poked, pinched, or hit) . Obviously all this will greatly affect the students’ physical and psychological.

So actually how do to cope with children who are lazy to learn? Still need us hear complaints keluahn parents about their children who are lazy to learn? Should the child is cranky or crying because his parents dimarahin and ordered around to learning?

To overcome these problems it is better if we first find the cause of prikalu lazy to learn, and then look for solutions to overcome them. Yes ma’am / sir ….? : D

Lazy learning in children psychologically is a form of mental slowing, intellectual, physical, and psychic children. Lazy learning arises from several factors, to more easily divided into two major factors, namely: 1) intrinsic factors (from within the child), and 2) extrinsic factors (factors outside the child).

A. Of the Inner Child (Intrinsic)

Feeling lazy to learn that arise from within the child can be caused by lack or absence of self-motivation. Motivation is likely to grow because children do not yet know the benefits of learning or not there something you want to accomplish. Besides fatigue in the move could result in decreased physical strength and the weakness of the psyche. For example, too old to play, too many of these lessons and tutoring that, too many extracurricular follow this or that, or help work at home parents, the factors causing the decline of physical strength in children. As another example, too old to cry, get angry (cranky) will also affect the child’s psychological condition.

2. Outside of the Child (Extrinsic)

Factors outside the child is no less great influence on the child’s condition to be lazy learning. This happens because:

a. Parent Attitudes

Attitudes of parents are not paying attention in the study or otherwise too much attention, can lead to lazy to learn. There is not enough, many parents in our society that requires children to learn just for the sake of numbers (values) and will not teach our children the awareness and responsibility of children to learn as a student. As a result of these demands are not little children that stress and often angry (cranky) so that the value of the work he obtained less satisfactory. Worse yet, parents are often angry and denounced his son when the child gets the value that satisfy kuang. According to psychologists, elementary school-age children actually janga too diorentasikan in value (learning outcomes), but how to get used to studying, practicing responsibility, and practice in a rule.

b. Teacher attitudes

Teacher as a role model or a figure who frequently interact with their children and be proud of, but not uncommon attitude of teachers in schools are also the object of student complaints. There are many different causes, ranging from the unpreparedness of teachers in teaching, not master the lesson to be taught, or because it gives too many chores and homework. In addition, the attitude is often late to class on time teaching, joking with certain students or bring the issue home to school, making the learning environment more uncomfortable, tense and frightening for some students.

c. Attitude Friend

Typing a child interacts with his friends at school, children can certainly direct attention to one another, attitude, school supplies, clothing and accessories, other accessories. But unfortunately not all my friends at school have a good attitude or behavior with other friends. A friend who is excessive in fashion school supplies or equipment to learn, like branded shoes which are not covered by other friends, including school bags and stationery bicycles and other toys, can indirectly be the envy of friends who are less fortunate. In the end there are children who demand to ask his parents to buy school supplies that are similar to his friend. When not followed it in a lazy way to learn in order granted the petition.

d. Learning Atmosphere at Home

Not a guarantee, and stately mansions make a studious child, nor a very simple house into an absolute factor lazy to learn. Houses that could not create a good learning atmosphere is a home that is always full of noise, a cluttered home state or condition of the stale air. Besides the availability of facilities to excessive play in the home also can disrupt children’s learning interests. Starting from the radio using a cassette tape, CD, VCD, or a computer that is programmed for a game (games), such as the Game Boy, Game Watch and Play Stations. Such conditions do not create potential for a good learning atmosphere.

e. Means of Learning

Learning tool is an absolute media that can support the interest in learning, lack or absence of a means to study directly has created the conditions for lazy children learn. Learning constraints usually arise due to the unavailability of specialized classrooms, desks, books supporting (mini library), and good lighting. In addition, not tersediannya textbooks, notebooks, and other stationery, is another part that tends to be automatic barriers child will lose interest in learning the optimal.

Six step to overcome mals studied in children and assist parents in guiding and assisting children with problems in the study include:

A. Looking for Information

Parents should ask the child to obtain precise information about him. Find the right circumstances to be able to communicate openly with him. After that invite children to reveal the cause he was lazy to learn. Use any such relaxed atmosphere while helping mom in the kitchen, a walk or while playing, do not have formal that makes children can not open the problem itself.

2. Creating a joint agreement between parent and child.

A deal was made to create the circumstances and responsibility and motivate children to learn not to impose the will of the parents. A deal was made starting from waking up when going to bed, both in terms of routine hours of study, length of study time, study hours when there is homework or not, hours of study at school holiday time, what if learning outcomes are good or bad, what reward or sanction must be accepted and so on. Even if there are sanctions that must be made or agreed upon, let the child decide as evidence of their responsibility towards something that will be mutually agreed.

3. Creating the Discipline.

Is not an easy thing to create the discipline to the child if the parent does not start. Parents who are used to show discipline in daily life will be easily followed by his son. Parents can create discipline in the study carried out in a consistent and sustainable. Exercise self-discipline can be started from the equipment to prepare learning, textbooks, school assignments reminded, asking the lessons they have learned the material, or ask the difficulties encountered in a particular subject, regardless of whether or not a school assignment.

4. Enforcing Discipline.

Enforcing discipline should be done when the child begins to leave the agreements that have been agreed. Whenever a child commits an offense as far as possible avoid the sanctions to be physical (pinched, poked, pinched, or hit). To divert use logical consequences that can be accepted by reasonable minds. If you can do activities together in one room while children learn, parents can, reading newspapers, magazines, or other activity that does not interfere with the child in the space. Thus enforcing discipline in children is not always the messenger or screaming while parents carry out other activities such as watching television or working in the kitchen.

5. Assertiveness Attitude

Stance, done in a way that parents no longer tolerate the child for offenses he did repeatedly. This stance, while the child is subject to totally rejected and denied on the grounds that made up. Even with the applicable child accidentally ‘dishonest’ conduct other activities intentionally to pass hours of learning. Stance, which is required to impose sanctions that have been agreed and ready to accept the consequences of the offense.

6. Creating Atmosphere Study

Creating a good learning atmosphere and comfort are the responsibility of parents. At least the parents meet the needs of a means of learning, paying attention to how to direct and accompany the child while studying. As an interlude of a parent can provide the educational games that are not tense atmosphere of learning and continues to attract attention.

Apparently lazy learning experienced by children are caused by various factors. Therefore, before the child already got an unsatisfactory and embarrassing to my parents, parents should immediately investigate and consider children’s learning interests. In addition, foster self-learning initiative on children, to instill awareness and responsibility as a student in children is another long-term benefit. If six steps can be applied to children, then it should not adalagi complaints from parents about their children who are lazy to learn or cranky child because her parents always scolded.

A few anecdotal acid tests.

I had tricks I used as an adjunct professor starting out, to keep me impartial in the work. I always cautioned the students to put their name on the top right hand corner of page one of their papers, and nowhere else. Then I lifted each new paper from the stack while grading with my hand over the top right corner. If their paper was typed, good show, but I admit it was hard to not know who did a paper when you recognized the handwriting.

When I had completed evaluating the entire paper, I calculated a fair grade and put it on the final page of the paper. Finally, I entered the data in the grade book. Ideally, I only knew who I gave each grade to, when I began reading the name off the top right front, and then finding the grade on the last page and entering that by their name in the gradebook. It was one of the ways I tried to score their work fairly, and avoid giving the higher grades to the students I preferred. But there were bigger challenges to maintaining impartiality as a professor. Here are a few:

1. One Fall Quarter I had an early enrollee in Literature 110. He was fifteen and accelerated in his studies to Freshman level status in the University where I taught. That Winter Quarter, I had him in Eng 111, He was in 112 that Spring, and the last time I taught him was Eng 115 that Summer Quarter. The entire time he attended my classes he never quit calling me a moron. He would be assigned a persuasive essay on his choice of topic. So he would choose to argue the point that I am a jackass, because, and here he would draw from some utterance I made in a class that he felt was less than intelligently followed up on by me. Or something like that. And I would carefully quantify the number of technical errors and content errors, any organizational problems or such, and then point out in my comments on his paper that he missed the next class after that utterance occurred, and so was not present for the promised follow up. I would dock him points for flawed support of his argument.

Along the way, I got his first paper and told him at the college level he should be neatly composing finished pieces, not scrawling a lot of annotations into the margins of his assignment. And it is inappropriate at the college level to draw super heroes or other cartoon or comic book characters in the margins of a formal research paper being turned in for a grade. He kept showing up, and kept letting me know and I kept responding from within the teacher/student/material paradigm. At the end of a year with him, his papers were professional grade and getting A’s.

2. There was a little waster who turned in handwritten papers covered with scratch-outs and blotted ink, and filled with enough error to embarrass a paper of 25 times its length. I tried to work with him, but that was the size of the effort he was prepared to offer, so I told him unless a miracle occurred, his next assignment being turned in at the same caliber, he would flunk the course. His next paper arrived when due, reflecting the traditional lack of effort. But it was an informational paper explaining about how he liked to torture animals around the neighborhood. I saw it instantly. I was known to be an animal sympathizer. So he figured if I flunked him, he could appeal that I did it because he got uncalled for about my precious animals. Personal reasons. But his paper truly was an F paper in every way. So I gave it an F. I was buying catfood one evening after that, and a friend of his was the checkout boy at the store. He looked at the cat food and said “Yeah WE know why Brian got an F on his paper…..” I said “Yes, I believe you really do know. So face it.”

3. One Quarter, I had a very tall, dark and startlingly handsome man in one of my classes. Every day when he or I would enter the classroom, he would say something like “Hey, Beautiful. What’s up? Are we getting together tonight?” I would just look at him directly and ignore that stuff and be as nice to him as to anyone. The first paper came due, and were handed in to me, and I found the tall handsome student’s paper was exceptional, way above the customary skill level encountered in the Freshman level English classes. Absolutely first rate, and computer searching turned up no plagiarism. I gave his paper an A.

Next class, as I handed back the assignment, I saw his face cloud over with sly amusement when he saw the A on his paper. I realized he believed he got the A for being good-looking and flirting with me. He did not realize what he turned in was an A paper. Some kind of nasty self esteem issue going on there. And the Quarter spiralled out, with lots of him flirting and looking smug and sly when his brilliant and original and incisive papers with nary a technical error, got As. Obviously believed he tricked the As out of the dumb teacher, overcome with how attractive he was.

A year and a half later, I was loading a box of donuts for an office meeting into my front seat before leaving the donut shop, when I saw a man coming toward me, just walking down the street. As he came closer, he called out my name. It was the handsome A student of six quarters earlier. He looked homeless. Semi bearded, bloodshot, rumpled, a general sheen. We exchanged pleasantries for a couple of minutes. So mundane I can’t remember a word of it. And then I got in my car and pulled out, praying for him. He was the walking illustration of the principle that lack of self esteem can cancel out a lot of blessings.

Interesting, isn't it right??

Who does not know video games? The games often hypnotize anyone to stay at home sitting at the computer for hours, or keep hold of his gadget for a certain time. But who would think of video games are some of diseases such as cancer or some other disease can be controlled?

In a research laboratory at the Departments of Physics and Computer Science, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States, Prof. Samuel Cho et al. using graphics processing units (GPUs) to study some of the problems that can lead to disease cells. GPUs are technologies that create images on a video games seem so real. Through GPUs, how living cells, divide, and the dead will be projected with very realistic.

Have relied on computer simulations, the researchers can observe the pattern of cell division (in this case RNA molecules) that may not previously observed in practice. A further advantage is that it allows experts to see more accurately how the RNA functions.

In relation to cancer, the enzyme telomerase (an important role in the process of cell division / RNA) is known, if not controlled, will spur the growth of cancer. Physiologically, these enzymes to keep the cells are not damaged before their time. Cells will continue to divide, and this is essential to cancer growth.

Through a basic knowledge of telomerase, with tools GPUs, then the group of researchers from Wake Forest University has opened new horizons to encourage the search “treatment” is right in the prevention and treatment of cancer. A new drug should be added to stop the activity of the enzyme telomerase that cancer cells die.

Computer simulations in a very realistic, with GPUs technology, has provided tools or aids to get into the cells, saw the process going on, and intervene in the cell. Without this technology it takes a very long time to observe metabolic processes are very complicated especially at the cellular level.

Complete, the underlying scientific article writing is titled Folding of Human Telomerase RNA Pseudoknot Using Ion-Temperature-Jump and Quench simulations have been published by Shi Biyun, Samuel S. Cho, D. Thirumalai on the Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2011; 133 (50): 20 634 DOI: 10.1021/ja2092823. For a more popular writings, this article has also been published recently in ScienceDaily, February 16, 2012.

The Geckskin can "paste" to the wall easily an object of more than 300 kilos.

The legs of geckos have pads that allow them to climb smooth walls and ceilings go.

Biologists have always been amazed by the power of the legs of gecko, a lizard that can scale smooth walls and even walk without slipping through the roof with ease. These skills are well known among people who live in temperate climates, they see how these animals appear over their heads in any room. Now a team of scientists from the University of Massachusetts Amherst have discovered exactly how the lizard achieves such a balance and has even invented, inspired by his legs, a device called Geckskin that lets you paste an object and take off easily over 300 kilos in a smooth wall. The discovery is published in the journal Advanced Materials.

Geckos, also popularly known as geckos are quite admirable. They can climb smooth walls and many types of surfaces, even laid back, and go through the roof without falling. This ability resides in the pads of their feet plants. “Surprisingly, the gecko’s feet can step in and out easily, with no sticky residue left on the surface,” says biologist Duncan Irschick, who has studied these animals for 20 years. These properties of high reversibility and dry adhesion are a source of inspiration to create synthetic materials that can stick and unstick heavy everyday objects such as televisions or computers, to the walls. They may also have different medical and industrial applications.

Researchers have created a device called Geckskin (something like gecko skin), about 40 inches square, that can withstand a maximum force of over 300 kilos attached to a surface smooth as glass. Beyond its impressive ability to grip the device, according to its creators, can be released with a negligible effort and reused many times without loss of efficacy. For example, can be used to attach a 42 inch to a wall, a gentle pull release and re-placed on another surface many times as necessary, without leaving residue.
A foot complex

Previous efforts to synthesize the tremendous power adhesive gecko’s feet were based on the qualities of microscopic hairs on their toes (called setae), but efforts to bring that power to a larger scale were unsuccessful in partly because it did not take into account the complexity of the entire gecko foot. According to Irschick, foot lizard has several elements that interact, including tendons, bones and skin, that work together to produce a readily reversible adhesion.

Researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst believe that these hairs are not required to obtain a performance similar to the gecko. The key innovation of the team was to create an adhesive pad integrated with a soft, woven into a rigid structure that allows it to be hung on a surface to maximize contact. Moreover, as in gecko feet, the skin is woven into a “tendon” synthetic, creating a design that plays a key role in maintaining the rigidity and freedom of rotation, the researchers explain.

The adhesive pad using simple everyday materials such as poly dimethyl siloxane (PDMS), which scientists say holds promise for the development of a dry adhesive inexpensive, strong and durable. Researchers believe that his invention, which has been supported by the Research Agency Defense Advanced Research Projects (DARPA) in the U.S., can help humans in many ways, from hanging a TV easily make boots Astronauts to enable them to perform their tasks in space with the ability of a lizard.

My way through an economy in interlinked with one another as well as in an extensive sense the economies around the world are associated with one another at the same time.

My way through an economy in interlinked with one another as well as in an extensive sense the economies around the world are associated with 1 another at the same time. Countries export and 000-m99 import jointly and this also is why if an individual country includes a overuse injury in its economy one other country is certain to get affected besides. Just examine what sort of whole world felt the ripples from the effect with the collapse with the US housing market. This phenomenon is termed the ripple effect or perhaps the multiplier effect. Likewise, mortgage rates and inflation are both very strongly linked.

Lets first define inflation and rates just so that everybody is about the same page; inflation means a general rise in the costs of commodities a duration of time. Rates include the percentage where you take a loan, meaning in the event you borrow a group amount of cash you’ll have to pay off over your borrowed amount, the reason being the worth of greenbacks decreases over time.

The ultimate way to understand the very idea of the connection between mortgage rates and inflation is with an illustration, so let’s say interest levels as part of your economy have fallen, it gets cheaper to borrow from banks, getting credit cards, loans, and everything. The thing is people who are around you getting loans and utilizing credit cards, and it also compels one to think, why don’t I? Consequently, you have involved in bank borrowing too, taking advantage of a persons vision rates, life seems great initially, you may pay your debt and monthly 000-m198 obligations in time and you become accustomed to it. However, after sometime the truth doesn’t remain the same due to changes in demand and gives. It is advisable to be aware that time changes so that as it passes, demand for everything will be really at high level that there wouldn’t be enough supply to meet up with that demand. For instance everyone is now offering an automobile or a motorbike, along with the demand for petrol has risen much that supply becomes inadequate, so when such things happen we see an increase in price because people are be ready to cover higher prices to get it, and this is when things begin to make a mistake. Now imagine every good and service actually starts to face this frequent problem, everything will become expensive and even if some commodities tend not to face this problem of increased demand they’ll need to improve prices because in the main prices have risen and that is affecting their income as well. This is known as demand pull inflation.

Similarly when mortgage rates increase, borrowing becomes expensive the ones save as an alternative to spend because once they save, a similar monthly interest relates to their savings and saving seems a greater option. This eventually brings about a lowering in demand and when there may be less demand in the market it leads to too much supply which force 000-z05 prices to diminish and inflation levels go lower. And that’s how mortgage rates and inflation are of the other person.
