When I received a phone call last Spring from the NAPW Corporate Office after doors really began to open up for my business, I was excited, yet a little skeptical. After a wonderful conversation with one of the staff, I realized right away that this was yes, an organization that is based on membership and fees. Moreover this was a professional group of unique women that I would eventually create some of my strongest bonds.

In the workplace you can receive great reviews and spearhead key projects and still not get promoted. This is why you need to be open to feedback from your supervisor. They should be able to honestly and freely tell you about your progress and development. Your supervisor should also be able to tell you what steps are needed in order to get you to the next level.
