Are You Safe in Your Own Home?
A murder that happened in my town that makes me wonder if you are even safe in your own home.
You may think you are perfectly safe staying in your own house, but in the world today crazy things happen, so you may not be as safe as you think. You may think that is just absurd, however I have a story that may convince you otherwise.
During the first weekend of August, 2008 a married couple were in their home and they were invaded and beaten. The male was fled to a hospital out of town and he died on the way.
The case is still being investigated a few weeks later. Its still being investigated on a few different counts murder of course, a burglary, aggravated battery and trespassing due to it being an invasion of the couples home.
Officials who have been searching this case say either a Mag type flashlight or baseball bat was used in the beating.
It is just sick what some people do today. More and more these days these criminals do not even care if you are home, they will rob you while you are sitting right there.
My main point in this is that do not think you are perfectly safe because you are in your own home. You could be in danger there as anywhere else. Not trying to scare any readers, just trying to point this out, so hopefully people are more aware and do not get into a situation like the married couple here in town.
To all, take care and be safe.

Wow. This is stupid. “A man was beaten to death in his own home. I’m just sayin’.” That’s pretty much all this is. What’s the point?

“so hopefully people are more aware and do not get into a situation like the married couple here in town.”
I personally doubt awareness is the situation here, I’d think either of luck (or bad luck) or stupidity (opening doors at midnight, people who walk down the street mid night).
Either way, being aware of dangers doesn’t really help, having guns at home, so when you open a door you take a gun with you?
But well the intention is good.
