Boston Craiglist Killer Commits Suicide, Charges Dropped

Philip Markoff met miss Julissa Brisman, the woman he was accused of killing, after she placed an advertisement on craiglist. Brisman travelled to Boston to meet Markoff at a Boston hotel so that she could perform her services.While at the hotel, Markoff attacked Brisman and shot her three times. Markoff was later arrested and charged with murder. Markoff was also charged with attacking two other women he had met on craiglist.com. In August 2010, a Boston newspaper reported that Markoff had commiited suiced while awaiting trial.
Markoff committed suicide by placing a plastic bag over his head and cutting his carotid artery. On Sep 15 th 2010, a Boston newspaper reported that prosecuters had dropped charges against Markoff after his suicide.
Now that the craiglist killer is dead, there may be other killers out there and people should always use good judgment when meeting strangers.
