Cancer Fraud

Jonathan White, a 15 year old teenager with brain cancer and the support and prayers of the cancer community crushes souls and brings up disturbing realities this world faces.

A 15 year old teenager was battling for his life.  Besides being a teenager in today’s world being raised by his single father, Jonathan had brain cancer.  With the God sent work of people at The Cancer Climber Association and its advocacy program for cancer patients, Jonathan began receiving gifts and support from all over the world from survivors and other individuals still stricken with cancer.  A woman known as LiveStrong Gena reached out particularly far in Jonathans case and took his fight on as her own, while she too was battling her own cancer.  She began talking to Jonathan, Jonathans father and step-father via the phone and text messaging sending him her hopeful message for the poor young man.  This remarkable woman did not stop at phone calls and texts though, she sent gifts along with countless other individuals to this courageous young man in hopes that good cheer and prayers will change the course his debilitating disease had set off on.  Just this past week Jonathan had posted that he was getting prepared for surgery and LiveStrong Gena took the initiative to plan to be in Arizona with the ailing teen while going through this arduous process.  She received a twitter notification that he had a spiked fever that reached 105 and began updating his status on his behalf from text messages she was receiving from his step-father. Then came the mysterious email.

Just as Gena was getting packed to make the voyage to Arizona and be at Jonathans side, an email came to her from Jonathan saying that it was all a lie and a scam.  There was no Jonathan White.  No 15 year old with brain cancer about to have surgery.  This scam is now under investigation by the F.B.I. and Gena is asking all individuals who sent gifts or donations to “Jonathan White” to please report it to her Jonathanjayisafraud@gmail.com.  When submitting all of the information please detail the dollar amount of everything you sent, including postage costs, your name and contact information.  You can also go to the Internet Crime Complain Center- ic3.gov.  Here is what you will be asked. IC3 accepts online Internet crime complaints from either the person who believes they were defrauded or from a third party to the complainant. We can best process your complaint if we receive accurate and complete information from you. Therefore, we request that you provide the following information when filing a complaint:

Good article, hopefully this lack of humanity on the part of this “Jonathan” does not hinder others from helping and fighting the good fight

    Chris,
From what i read you should be one of the first people to question when someone says they are sick or have some illness. This is why no one donates anymore, i know thats why i stopped. might as well give money to the homelss guy on the corner.
