Case of Plagiarism
Did you ever think an author could plagiarize?
Well its true some authors do plagiarize. Plagiarizing is a big crime it’s when you take credit for other peoples work and put it in your own book, homework, job about anything so here’s the story for Stephen Ambrose former author and plagiarizer.
Stephen Ambrose was using plagiarism but Fred Barnes nailed Ambrose by saying several passages from The Wild Blue his recent best seller about world war two B-24 bomber crews from historian Thomas Childers Ambrose footnoted Childers but still passed off Childers elegant prose as his own Ambrose apologized immediately for the “mistake” and promised to take place the text in quotations in future editions. Ambrose has written eight books in five year “He writes so many books how can he make a mistake like that?” Says former Sen. He got past the first plagiarism case but Mark Lewis started digging. On Monday Lewis found out 3 other plagiarism cases and 5 more swiped phrases and paragraphs from other peoples writing. When it happens more then once it’s called pathology people wonder if Ambrose’s punishment is severe enough.
