Cell Phone Disguised as a Gun (Cleaver Device and Deadly Weapon)

As if we needed something else in this dangerous world to be alarmed about.

This was sent to me as a joke, but I assure you this is no laughing matter.  As if our streets weren’t dangerous enough.  Some genius has developed yet another cleaver gadget to assist criminals with creating havoc in the world.  This cleaver gadget has not yet reached the United States and hopefully it never will.  The cell phone is disguised as a gun which is capable of firing four .22-caliber bullets.  Can you imagine some trigger-happy police officer shooting some poor innocent victim, and in his defense he says, “I thought it was a cell phone gun”.

This invention is a potential threat to our law enforcement and the public.  The FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and U.S. Customs Services have been briefed on the new weapon.

These cleverly disguised pistols were first discovered in October, 2009, by a Dutch Police Officer during a drug raid in Amsterdam.

The Police Department stated that the shipment originated in Yugoslavia.  Interpol sent out warnings to law enforcement agencies around the world.

Loading the gun is simple, just twist in half, four .22 caliber rounds fit into the top of the phone under the screen.  The lower half, under the keyboard, holds the firing pins.  The bullets fire through the antenna by pressing the keypads from numbers five to eight.

Please don’t be fooled with this sophiscasted machine, which has been constructed inside gutted cell phone and don’t light up, nor operate like a real phone.

A law was implemented on November 1, 2009.  You will no longer be able to use a cell phone while driving unless you have a hands free adapter.

A hand gun is a criminal’s typical weapon of choice, but how do you defend yourself if you are completely unaware where the bullets may be coming from?  “Can you imagine, someone actually using a cell phone gun to shoot at their unsuspecting target, and then covering it up by pretending to make it look like they are intercepting a call”?

Take a look at picture of cell phone gun on Utube, it will shock you.

Great informative article… Good introduction. I totally agree with you. Hopefully, this device won’t come to the U.S. The world is already dangerous as it is. Imagine someone shoot at another for no reason.

OooOo somebody give ME a cellphone gun! I want one! Then i dont have to carry mace anymore which, if there is a strong current of wind, can blow it back in my face. And which, only streams out a narrow amount of fluid that youd have to aim well. I would have to aim my cellphone gun though.

Wow a cell phone gun could really wreak havoc, everybody has a cell phone. They’ll have to criminalize anybody who makes one.

Certainly gives new meaning to conceal-carry laws such as we are so lucky to have in Missouri. I feel safer already. But be careful, next time that jerk on his cell phone almost rans into you, just smile nicely, he might shoot you with the damn thing.

OMG, what will they think of next. It is a scary world and we do have to take whatever precautious to protect ourself. Of course as you said, if we don’t know where the bullets are coming from how do we defend ourself.
