Crime Does Not Pay
A look at occasions when the saying of “Crime does not pay” is an understatement.
We have all heard the saying that crime does not pay but in the cases of what I’m about to show you it not only doesn’t pay but these guys would have been better off staying in bed. I have often heard how smart most criminals are even if their caught some of their ingenuity astounds us but it is not as astounding as the dumbest criminals in the world.
Christopher Allen Koch woke up one day and decided to rob a bank. He went to the Liberty Pennsylvania bank at 11:40 am and stayed inside his car in the parking lot for twenty minutes but had he read the sign on the bank door he would have known the bank closed at noon for the rest of the day. It was exactly 12:01 when Christopher walked up to the bank door covered in a face mask, gloves and a gun where he tried to enter. It just happened that some people were not gone home yet. They wrote down Christopher’s license plate number and phoned the police. The man was promptly arrested and charged with attempted robbery.

Cristian Garces lives in Manizales, Columbia and just happens to be a Pan American karate champion. In 2008 a burglar decided to break into a house and picked Cristian’s house to do the honors. The thief had already bagged a laptop and two digital cameras along with other items before he decided to leave. You guessed it! Cristian and part of his team found him in his home and gave him the beating of his life before calling the police. The poor guy was probably very happy to see them.

Nothing is sacred from thieves these days and it certainly shows in this burglary. In 2008 in a small town in Burjassot which is just outside of Valencia a burglar broke into a funeral parlor. The neighbors heard the noise of at the doors being broken and phoned the police. When they entered they couldn’t find anyone but decided to check the coffins just in case. As they viewed the bodies the crook made the mistake of breathing and the second mistake was the grubby clothes he had on. Not exactly what you would wear when leaving this world.

A very interesting and humerous article. These criminals do sound as if they were not endowed well in the brains department.
Good work.

Great collection! When my eldest was 3, she scribbled her name inside a cupboard door, and blamed her baby sister. Criminals should not sign their work – my daughter is pretty much rehabilitated now.

Good for the wheelchair lady. Perhaps he would have murdered had been able to enter her place. Crime doesn’t pay. An excellent message.
