Deny parole to Charles Manson

California authorities in the U.S., denied parole for Charles Manson, the famous former leader of a sect that killed several people in Hollywood in the seventies.

This is the twelfth time that the authorities review and deny the case.

The authorities concluded that Manson is very dangerous and case review will be done in 15 years.

Manson was sentenced to death in 1971 but his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment because it eliminated the death penalty in California.

77 year old man led a cult that committed several murders in neighborhoods of Los Angeles, including the wife of filmmaker Roman Polanski.

The California Department of Corrections in the United States, announced a new image of Charles Manson, the famous leader of the sect “The Family” and who is serving a life sentence.

The image is called a week before the next hearing on his case, to be held on April 11.

Manson, 77, became famous for a series of murders in 1969.

One of his victims was actress Sharon Tate, wife of filmmaker Roman Polanski.

He was sentenced to death by gas chamber for the death of 9 persons, but his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment when it outlawed the death penalty.

Is being held in Corcoran Prison, located 240 kilometers northwest of Los Angeles.

The current picture is far from that Manson had released him in 2009.

Then left with short hair and beard much less neglected.

What has been maintained in both images was a swastika tattooed on his forehead.

“Danger irrational”

The April 11 session is planned to study his case once more, and is likely to apply again for parole.

The last time was considered for parole was in 2007.

At that time his application was rejected because “it was unreasonable to pose a risk to others and could be a big risk for anyone who got in touch with him,” according to the information that the court gave prison supervision.

Parole has been denied and eleven times in the last five years in prison had problems where it is held for threatening an officer and for possession of a weapon.
