Domestic Violence

I have been in a relationship where i got married and then left. here’s how it went: I was with the man for a couple of years and everything was great! I got pregnant and things were still good. Then i got married to him and everything changed. He began verbally, mentally, and physically abusing me. He thought of our marriage certificate as an ownership! I put up with it for 6 years feeling sorry for me, thinking that he would change…one day i just took my kids and left. Of course he cried teliing me that he loves me and he’d never do it again. Then he became angry telling me it was MY fault…the nerve! All i’m saying is ladies..It is NOT your fault! don’t fall for it, get away as soon as possible before it becomes a life or death situation!
