Falls “El Guero”, an Alleged Associate of “El Chapo”

Mexico City • Elements of the Federal Police arrested Luis Rodriguez Olivera, alias “El Guero”, an alleged trafficker drug , for whom authorities United States offered a reward of five million dollars.

The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) federal reported that the person was arrested yesterday in the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM) and entered the Federal Center for Social Rehabilitation.This person is accused of money laundering and conspiracy to import, possess and distribute cocaine into the UnitedStates where has provisional arrest for extradition purposes internationally. Rodriguez Olivera, 39, has a warrant valid and enforceable by the Federal Court District of New York, issued on May 22, 2010.

In a statement the agency said that the detainee is from Tototlan, Jalisco, and is allegedly responsible for the trafficking of cocaine from Mexico into the United States, using as a route to Texas from there spread to other entities in that country. In addition, along with his brothers Stephen, Daniel and Miguel were members of the group criminal called “The Guerito” who were linked to the trafficking and importation of several tons of cocaine between 1996 and 2008 toUnited States. These activities are performed in the service criminal group named “Pacific Cartel”, led by Joaquin Guzman Loera “El Chapo Guzman.” lines of research indicate that in 2008, Esteban Rodriguez Olivera was arrested in Mexico pursuant to a provisional warrant for extradition while his brother Michael was killed in the state of Yucatan in August 2011.
