Granddad Bandit Now in Court
by After three years, the court now has custody of this olden felon.
Starting his reign as the Granddad Bandit in 2008, Michael Francis Mara, the suspected thief who robbed countless amount of banks over a large part of the US. The FBI has been tracking him down for nearly 2 years now, and finally he was nabbed. His hearing will be sometime this week.
The name was given to Michael Francis Mara because he is of an older age- 53 years old. People would believe that Granddad Bandit would assume that he was NOT dangerous, but that was not entirely the case.
When Michael would rob a bank, he would point to his waistband and say that he had a gun, but FBI and police are not entirely sure if he actually had a gun.
