Identity Theft is a Terrible Crime
Being victimized with data breaches and identity theft and name theft, I went through a lot and learned a lot and got protection for it. I remember how it was when it first happened to me.

Another day has come, but what it brought with it was the terrible incident of being victimized of identity theft!Bank statements of credit cards that I did not open and a business license that I’d not apply for were two things that I found out about my valuable social security number and name parts of my identity, and how it got stolen from me and being used by terrible people. This was the beginning for me, of what was and is something called identity theft that unfortunately led to family name theft. It is a quiet crime that you know nothing about, until you get smacked with it like I did through the mail with statements of 35 credit cards I’d never open and you know what kind of information needed to open credit cards is very confidential and a total stranger did this to me!
That was the wake up call that not only woke me up it terrified me! I saw Ms. Mari Frank in an investigative report by Bill Curtis, about identity theft and was very moved that others were also waging the fight to win to protect our good names and to protect our country. Ten years ago people didn’t understand it as they do now. There has been a lot done for victims of identity theft crimes and much help is here for us, but it isn’t enough. There are horror stories that have happened from being victimized of identity theft, which includes every one of us victims in any way whether individuals, businesses, hospitals, banks, etc. My horror story is that I can’t get employed, I get the strangest and terrible emails ever, and I have been attacked all the time by a nut that does crime with my name. I read in the newspaper of someone being arrested trying to use my families name and she is no relative. This is criminal identity theft, when a criminal uses your name or in my case a family members name when ask while being arrested, for their arrested name. This is a very important reason why, to report being victimized with identity theft. There were minor incidents when my gas card was being used after I sold my car too. I was in the process of closing my gas card and was waiting for my last statement form my gas card credit card and there it was a charge for gas and other things that I did not make! Little things such as unmade credit card charges will tell you, you’ve been attacked with identity theft.
