Though there has been a lot done and a lot here for we who are victims of identity theft, it isn’t enough. There are some people who have been bankrupted because of being victimized by identity theft. Aside of the traumatic situation of being victimized, violated of what you thought to be secured, private, and privileged information is being used by a notorious criminal, doing who knows what with your good name. More must be done. One thing is definitely needed is funding for we victims. We have expenses to be paid and without income, how can we live? There is nothing to compensate, we victims at all, so we must request new laws through Congress for money assistance quickly. Though we are victims in many different ways we must be strong and live on.
I’ve just gotten notice from facebook.com that I’ve been disconnected because of abusive behavior—that I did not do. What had happened was criminal identity theft. A criminal has stolen your identity, and using it to commit crime. One thing you can do if you’re victimized from a social network situation, is to let everyone know it isn’t you and to report the incident(s) to the local police and the Federal Trade Commission too. I found that if you get a Federal Trade Commission report number, you’ll have a better chance reporting it to the local police and getting a police reference reporting number. You can also go to www.ic3.gov, to report such online incidents too. If the attacker is using emails to attack, spam@uce.gov. For victims of email abuse, visit emailabuse.org.
The thieves that are victimizing you and me needs to be caught right away and many stiffer laws to keep these victimizers from hurting others is necessary too. It is very important to help authorities catch these criminals to stop terrorismtoo. I have been reading in the daily local newspapers of how identity thieves have come up with what seems like new ways to attack we good citizens, but no matter what you can always depend on your local police department or sheriff’s office for inquiries about this crime, that Federal Trade Commission wants you to report, as soon as possible to the police.
Don’t give up on living, don’t get angry, frustrated or frightened and no matter how many times you get victimized don’t give up either! Keep living happily and you’ll be the victor in this unusual crime, being victimized of identity theft. They don’t stop at stealing only your identity, they try to steal your family name too. Be educated about identity theft, be vigilant and non-stop at protecting your good name and your family’s good good name. No matter how thieves attack your good name, don’t let it get you down—fight back and win!
One of the ways to fight back and win is to get identity protection plans, like I did from Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. and Subsidiaries (PPD). In 2003, Kroll International (KROL) and Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. and Subsidiaries, began to bring to America and Canada, Identity Theft Shield. Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. and Subsidiaries has complete identity protection plan: for more information contact www.prepaidlegal.com/. I hope this article helps you and your family.
