Influenced by Pornography: Man Jailed for Inserting Objects in Vagina of Wife During Sex

A man has been jailed for 15 months for inserting the vegetable brinjal – in other words an eggplant into his wife’s vagina. The 40-year-old father of two pleaded guilty in court, saying that he was influenced by what he saw after watching pornographic films.
According to reports, the victim reported to the police stating that her husband had inserted a brinjal into her vagina which has caused her to be traumatized and emotionally disturbed. According to the wife, the husband frequently inserted objects into her vagina most times they had sexual intercourse, causing her injuries to the vagina.
She told the police that whenever she refused to let him do that, her husband would go insane and start shattering things in the house, causing her great panic.
The presiding judge held that the husband’s offence was a very serious one and said that he hoped that he would not repeat it again.
The judge warned the accused that if he was to ever repeat such act against his wife again, the court would subject him to a harsher punishment. Under Section 377C A of the Penal Code, such act carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in jail and also the offender is sometimes liable to whipping if found guilty.
According to the husband’s defense lawyer, his client was drunk during the incident and committed the offence because he thought that his wife consented to it and loved it.
