Jonbenet Ramsey Case

 It was a regular night December 26, 1996 and JonBenet’s mother found a two page ransom note on the kitchen stairs. Demanding $118,000, the exact amount her father had received in a bonus shortly before. They got home from a Christmas party and her parents her to bed. Nothing was unusual. It was said that her mother stayed up late packing for a trip which could have brought up some suspicion. The police came and did not put up yellow tape they did not ban people from the area, this begins the different things wrong the investigators did. Now you could give the excuse that this was the only murder the entire year, but these people are paid to be good at investigating. They also let friends and family in the house to comfort the parents and to look around. This tampered with evidence and destroyed the crime scene. Also another suspicious thing is that while all the people were looking around the house for her or for clues her dad went straight to the wine cellar to look for her. It was the first place he had looked and there she was covered in a white blanket, strangled with a rope and her skull cracked. Now the father took off the ropes and tried cleaning her up then moved her to the upstairs, which again messes up the evidence and the crime scene. With all this tampering and mistakes the investigators cannot get accurate evidence of fingerprints, DNA or anything that could lead them to the killer. Now many people think it was her parents, but there was not enough evidence to prove anything. Later newly found DNA evidence that proved her parents had not done it. People also think it could have been a teacher that had been convicted of child pornography and he also said that he had killed her. But his wife said they had been out of town. This case is still open it is a cold case
